Lost Season 4 *****SPOILER**** Thread!!

The producers said Aaron wasn't one of the six, and that the rest would be revealed tonight. That's why I think Jin is one of the six and he died after the island.

I haven't read the whole thread yet, but would you care to explain this quote?

And I think we already have the plus one. Desmond got off the island.

The "plus one" is someone who wasn't an Oceanic passenger. Desmond is already on the freighter, so wouldn't the "plus one" be him?

You know this show.....just because they're on the freighter doesn't necessarily mean that they'll be rescued and get back to the real world!;)

I wonder if his death is all fake...like they are doing with all the others survivors that didn't get off the island. Of course we have no idea what will happen to all the others that don't get off. In that one flash forward with Kate and Jack though quite a while ago, when he says we have to go back, you would think there are others still there. Are we thinking that all the others die, like they are letting the rest of the world believe?

Dang, I am so Lost!

I thought that at first, but the way Sun was acting...it seemed like he had really died. If he wasn't dead (and she just missed him) I don't think she'd feel a need to go some more empty grave. But hey, I actually have no idea!

Not necassarily. This is LOST, nothing's predictable. Well, except that Micheal would be back on the show.

But the purge was years earlier.....did they somehow preserve the bodies all that time? I DO believe that Ben does the time travel thing, so it IS possible he knew when the plane would crash and prob. had plans for how to stage the fake plane crash. But to preserve the bodies for that many years?

Well do you really need more than just the bones? Can't they say the fish ate their flesh?

Oooh, I hope this is it!!! Yes she seemed very sad, but she could be sad because he's still on the island and they have no way to get him off. That would make sense as to why she was calling his name because she knows he's still alive. And going to the empty grave could be a way to keep up appearances.

I agree here! Maybe they feel there is no hope of the others leaving the island at all. Man this show is ticking me off! I want answers! :rotfl:

Possibly. :goodvibes When she was talking to his grave, she could've been meaning to say those things to an alive Jin. (Haha, if that makes any sense.) They never said he died, so they left is open for speculation.

There's just so many possibilities, none of can really know for sure.

The Oceanic 6 are Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, Jin. The Plus One is Aaron.

They never said all of the Oceanic 6 would be alive.

I think Jin is alive too - maybe hiding fron Sun's father:confused3 I know you don't know when Jin went to the hospital- could have been early in his marriage to Sun but in my mind I am thinking he's alive.

It is amazing how when they answer one question they just create another one.

Yeah, cause I remember reading that the +1 was someone who was on the plane but didn't have a ticket. That would have to be Aaron.

I think he's alive but still on the island..........Maybe there wasn't enough room for all of them? Maybe Ben wouldn't let him leave? Maybe they had to choose between Sun and Jin and Jin let Sun go so she could deliver the baby??

Also, wonder why Hurley was "glad" that no one else was there when they went to the gravesite?? :rolleyes1

Well do you really need more than just the bones? Can't they say the fish ate their flesh?

Not really....if you remember when we first meet the folks from the helicopter, they showed the helicopter pilot watching the news when they showed film of the plane on the bottom of the ocean....they showed the plane's pilot's hands and he wasn't wearing a wedding ring. The helicopter pilot (I can't remember his name) got all upset and called somebody to say that what they were showing on tv was NOT Oceanic 815 because *he* was supposed to be the pilot and he knew the guy who ended up being the pilot and this guy never went without his wedding ring. So they needed flesh on the bodies.

VERY weird theory here, but with the time travel thing.....maybe Jin's "grave" is where Jin comes back in time, so maybe Sun visits hoping that Jin will somehow get to see her? (I know, totally out in left field, but isn't everything with this show?:rotfl: )

They never said all of the Oceanic 6 would be alive.

Or possibly in next week's previews they said that somebody will die, and there were gunshots. Maybe Sun and Jin DO both make it to the freighter, there's some kind of fight and Jin jumps in front of Sun to save her and the baby and he ends up getting shot and dies?

I think they did. Jack's testimony at Kate's trial was that eight survived the crash, but then only six lived. If they want the world to think that Jin died on 9-22-04 he can't be one of the Oceanic Six.

What, you think this is POTC3?? ;)

Ok if he is on the island why is he listed as one of the Oceanic 6? I saw it posted here- does that mean we are just guessing he made it off or is that from some official site that says Jin is one of the 6?

Ughh - more questions:confused3

It was in the year 2000. The store keeper tried to sell Jin a dragon because it was the year of the dragon - the last one was in 2000. (my husband was born the year of the dragon so he picked up on this. The next one will be in 2012.)

My question though, is why isn't Michael and Walt considered part of the Oceanic six? Do they not get back to civilization?

That was odd....I wondered why it was "good" that nobody else was going to be there.

I would say that flashforward took place pretty soon after they got back since Hurley wasn't at the mental hospital yet.

Jin's flashback was in 2000 since it was the "year of the dragon".

The +1 is clearly Aaron.....If Jin is one of the 6, which was widely speculated, then he likely would have died right after he got "home". But how is the question. It would appear from the tombstone that he wasn't one of the 6 given the date of 9/22/04, which if so means that there is still someone else left to be identifed.....since I don't think "Kevin Johnson" is one of the 6 although he clearly makes it back to civilization.

Next week looks good....although it's up against the NCAA tourney (which sucks for me) and will be the last one for a month or so (which sucks for all of us!!)

Just a quick question about the series: we were supposed to get 8 episodes, then a break and then 5 more. So is next Thurs. (March 20) the last of the first 8? I think I read somewhere that the last 5 start on April 24 and then it'll be on at 10:00 rather than 9:00 (eastern). Am I correct?

Thanks - I was thinking it must have been a flashback.
