Lost Season 4 *****SPOILER**** Thread!!

I was thinking besides the Oceanic 6, one might be the baby, Aaron or Desmond (but I guess not now that some are saying he dies; I thought it was Claire that died and would have prefered her dying rather than Desmond but oh well) or Juliet.

I doubt Ben is counted as one of those who "gets off" the island because he doesn't really 'get off' it, IMHO; he's always been able to get on and off the island so I wouldn't count him.

We don't know yet but Ben wants him dead. Maybe he is party of Dharma.

Ok, I'm confused...wasn't her employer the guy Sayid already killed while playing golf? :confused3

Don't know. That happened at the very beginning of the show. Then he 'met' Elsa in the cafe and started a relationship with her. Then they shot each other when she realized he wanted to kill her boss.

I thought they were just showing us he had become a hit man. I never thought that guy at the beginning playing golf was her boss. Hmmm.....

Desmond wouldn't have been 1 of the Oceanic 6 either way as he wasn't on the plane the crashed.

I think the 6 are adults (Kate, Jack, Sayid, Hurley, ? and ? (Jin & Sun supposidly) and the extra one is Aaron.

Right, Desmond would not be one of the 6 but some of us thought he might be the + 1.

Yes, I've read it's Jin and Sun.

I was really hoping for a Desmond/Penny reunion too and hate to see him die.

It's possible the "plus one" is Aaron I guess. It's hard to figure out how to count him--he was on the plane. If this were real, Oceanic should give him a golden pass for life too.

no - that was another guy Sayid was sent to kill. We don't know who he is or why he was killed but it was obvious he had something to do with the Island since he ran when he found out that Sayid was on Oceanic 815.

Unless the timeline was all wonky and that happened after he killed Elsa?

The timeline is confusing enough that I don't think they would show things completely out of order during the flash-forward.

I would think Arron would be considered an Oceanic survivor. I know he wasn't born yet, but he did survive the plane crash:confused3

Is there a chance that Desmond's, Penny, is involved when the survivors returned?

Aaron is the plus one as he is NOT one of the Oceanic Six. Kate goes back to him after the trial this week.

Why wouldn't Aaron not be one of the Oceanic Six? He was on the Oceanic flight and did crash with the survivors. I always thought the "plus one" would be an Other, such as Juliet, or somebody like Desmond.

Technically not. Pregnant women are not charged for their unborn infant and he would be not be considered a soul as far as passenger count. In an emergency, the pilot reports the number of souls on board. They get that from the final count the chief flight attendant does right before the door is closed.

A baby born on board an airplane is considered "plus one" going strictly by aviation terms so I am sure it will apply to the island as the plus one.

I know Sawyer does NOT make it off the island.

That makes sense. Aaron definitely isn't in the list of Oceanic Six that I've seen. If I were Oceanic, I'd still give him the golden pass though. :)

I had thought that the "plus one" would be an adult who wasn't on the flight--such as Desmond or Juliet--but I guess they could count Aaron since he would be a person rescued from the island.

Is he the death between episodes four and eight?

Desmond isn't the death (at least not the big one) coming up....at least not according to Ausiello on Tvguide.com since Des wasn't on the plane.

Question: What can you tell us about the character dying on Lost? Have they been on the show since the beginning?— Bonasi

Ausiello: Yes, this person is an original 815er. And as far as major Lost deaths go, this one veers from tradition in one significant way.

My guess from all the speculation is it is Jin but I would rather have it be Clare. I would feel bad about either and for some reason I still think it could be Claire.....

If Claire doesn't die, I wonder why she'd give up her baby after that whole psychic guy thing where he made such a big deal out of her having to raise the baby or bad things would happen.

I was thinking (or hoping) maybe she does get pushed off the helicopter but then lives........

I'm pretty sure Jin is in a flash forward (with Sun) so I don't think he can be the one who dies.

The spoiler website has revealed (DarkUFO) that it is NOT Claire whose going to die next.

My guess is Desmond or Miles is going to die out of those people listed on the spoiler website as one of the ones who is going to die. Listed is Sun, Jin, Sawyer, Miles, Desmond, Claire and Juliet and they ruled out Claire so far.

Oh, and whomever dies, dies in the Desmond-centric episode; episode 5 "The Constant".
