I'm posting this here because technically its not a spoiler becasue it already happened and if you know Portuges then you know what she said , so here it goes. Okay I have found out that the parachutist said something to Mikail in another language and that when they asked what she said Mukail said she said thank you. But according to someone I know who actuall knows Portugese what she really said was.........

Thanks! I don't "know" Portugese, but I know how to say Thank you, and I was thinking last night it didn't sound like Thank you in Portugese, or in Italian. Then I forgot to rewind and relisten.

Did anyone else notice that when Jin ran after patchy, they wound up going in a big circle? They ended up a few trees away from where parachute girl was laying injured on the ground? What's up with that?!

I think it will turn out that Kate is pregnant. The Others set them up so they would end up together. That's an interesting theory that perhaps Kate and Sawyer are Ben's parents. He has said at least twice now that he was born on the island. There is definitely significance to that statement. Of course, he has never said that he was conceived on the island, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

As far as patch guy, maybe Ben is able to see the future like Desmond can and he told Mikhail that Locke was going to push him into the fence. So, perhaps Mikhail had some kind of pill that when he chewed it he would foam at the mouth and had some sort of pill to make it look like he was bleeding.

She said she needed to get samples from Austin, which is Kate!

Before she said she was going to get samples from Austin, didn't she say something like "I haven't been able to check any of the other women yet." That made me think that she's looking for samples from more than just Sun and Kate.

I also really like that she said "I hate you" after she turned off the recorder. That adds a lot to knowing what she's really thinking. But wouldn't she be afraid that there might also be video and sound recorders in the room? Ben could find out she said that.

Could it be that there was something about Patchy that made her trust him more? But maybe she was still out of it and didn't really realize what she was saying or to whom...that would explain the different languages.

I noticed that too and I went back and looked at it. It seemed as though they just cut to the next scene really quickly. Hurley was holding the flare gun when Desmond and Charlie took off running after Jin and then all of a sudden Desmond was holding it against Patch.

It had to be a really bad bit of editing. Jin and Mikhail really didn't look like they were running in circles, why would Mikhail run back to where he came from?

The Sawyer/Kate/Ben thing...wow!! The writers/producers made this big thing about it not being anything to do with time travel around season two. I am beginning to think that they have changed their minds. There have been a bunch of things this season where I've thought there has to be some sort of time thing going on. Personally I hope not. The Desmond stuff I can cope with, I just don't want it to get any larger than that.

About the plane, in the Nikki and Paulo episode, they discussed the beach eroding and things getting washed away. Has some or most of the plane wreckage washed away?

Back in season one, didn't they have to move further up on the beach because of the tide getting particularly high and washing things like parts of the wreckage away? Didn't the website for the Dharma group say it was experimenting in weather - tides could losely tie in with weather. Maybe they were able to manipulate the tidal pull on the beach to get enough of the wreckage to make it convincing that the plane was found and there were no survivors.

Maybe Ben is holding her sister's life in his hands. Maybe he is providing her with some type of medicine that is saving her life and has told Juliette that if she doesn't do what he says, he will let her die? She definitely doesn't want to be doing what she is doing for Ben.

Juliet is a very complex character. In a flashback we see her as a victim of her ex husband but a risk taker. She is good & bad. She is drawn to the dark side. She went with the others after she knew they killed her ex husband. BUT she is so likable

Why aren't the LOSTIES bombarding Juliet with questions?????? I mean, I know they don't "accept" her, but really....why isn't sitting down with her and getting answers????????? Jack doesn't even seem to ask her questions and they're best BUDS!

I didn't know that the writers said time travel wouldn't be involved. But they've already gone back on that with Desmond.

Yes.
If they are his parents & Ben needed them to hook up, don't you think locking them in a hatch would be better. I do not buy this one at all. He would have protected Sawer better from the others.

Maybe Ben doesn't even know exactly who his parents are. I do think this theory is getting a little wilder though.

I also had another thought about the time travel theory. I'm sure someone has thought of this already on another board (or maybe even somewhere here) but Desmond doesn't really work into it. His time on the island coincides with the others (he got there when they were already on the island, right?), but he also has flashbacks that involve the losties. In order for him to have had pre-island interaction with any losties (like with Jack in the stadium for example) and be on the island before them and later with them, he would have had to make some leap in time separate from them. So, there can't really be a big time difference (like the 40 or so years for Ben to be conceived and get to his current age) unless it's something that I just don't understand yet. It's the same with Juliet who we've seen flashbacks of that appear to be just a few years ago (and she claims her time on the island is 3 years).

Maybe there are two different times going on simultaneously on the island. And we know that Desmond has had (or at least appears to have had) some kind of time travel experience. And it just can't be a coincidence that "mittelos" is an anagram for "lost time" for time not to be involved somehow. But it's starting to feel like a time travel theory would get to be too confusing for the average viewer--or at least for me. So I guess, after all this, I'm unsure about whether time travel works into this or not.
