I'm embarrased to admit this, but it's been so long, I don't even remember a thing that happened on the last episode

They left off with Jack getting ready to operate on Henry/Ben. He cut a small slit in some organ to make him start bleeding really slowly. Jack is demanding that Kate be set free and that in one hour she is to contact him via walkie talkie to let him know she got away. Then Jack will fix Henry/Ben.

I can't even really remember what the survivors back at the beach are doing though. They didn't touch too much on them. I really really hope they can bring this season around. The first six weeks just didn't cut it for me.

I checked the ABC website and it's still scheduled to start Feb. 7th.

Too bad it is going to be on at 10 though. It may make me miss it this time around.

I think the producers made a big mistake going so long between episodes. Myself and a couple of friends were rabid fans until now. I'm really kind of ho-hum about the show. It's on at 10 so I'll probably record it and watch later. I'm not going crazy waiting for the new episodes like the first couple of seasons. They need to come up with some plausible answers to all the questions. Seems like they've just thrown more mystery on top of mystery...

On the bright side I did read where they will most likely run next seasons new episodes all in one block

I was feeling that way at the end of last season. Then the first episode of this season completely blew me away. Unfortunately, they started to lose me again. Hopefully, they can re-hook everyone right away and continue the momentum for the rest of the season.

That shouldn't be true. They've said from the beginning of this season that they were showing six episodes, followed by a 12 week break, and then showing the remaining episodes back-to-back. I can't imagine ratings would be too favorable if they suddenly changed that.

I am sooooo excited for tonight. I just hope I'm not disappointed.

Did I just hear right? I thought I heard that tonight's Lost is a type of editorial, where the producers/writers/etc will explain what's happened so far.

They're showing all 16 episodes with no breaks. They've been saying that on the commericals. This had better be worth the wait. I'm already upset about the time change in addition to making me wait so long to see new episodes.

In Canada they're still showing LOST at an earlier time: 7:00-8:00 is the recap episode, 8:00-9:00 is the new episode.
