I just didn't even see that kiss coming! I think I gasped. And when i asked dh, he said he didn't see it coming either. Were we the only ones who didn't sense it?

Jack was being a real jerk. I'm starting to like him less and less.

I'm giving everyone on this show several chances to straighten up. I think it's probably really hard thinking...Ok I'm on this island and I'm not getting off....I need to find me a mate!!!!!!! Don't you agree? Can you imagine that this island might be the rest of your life and you have to learn how to live there and be happy!!!??? That computer would be if I had my say in it. Especially when I had a bad day!!!!

I'm kinda happy there is a 6 week break. I'm out of town next week then my inlaws come, them my mom and grandma. Jan 11 is the next wednesday I don't have house guests. If new Lost's aren't on I don't have to listen to my inlaws complain and get upset that I want to watch. I don't have to try to explain the show to anyone and have them tell me how stupid it is and point out anything that doesn't make 100% perfect sense.

OMG I know. I HATE when I watch it with anyone but my DH. No one understands and it's just a freakin hassle. People talking over the show and the "WHAT DOES THAT MEAN"..."WHAT'S GOING ON?" SHUUUUTTTTT UUUUPPPP!!!

About the piece of the film that Eko found in the other hatch - I don't think it's actually from the same film that Locke had. The man's hair was parted different and the lapel on his lab coat was not the same style in the 2 pieces of film. Plus the EXIT light pointed in a different direction. I bet this was a piece of film from another instructional tape from one of the other stations.

Well since that cut out talked about if you use the computer for anything other than pushing the button, another "incident" could happen, maybe the person who cut it out wanted another incident to happen. The others? Who knows.

You and the actor that plays him! LOL, his hair is part of his character, and I have read several interviews with Josh Holloway, he can't STAND Sawyers hair! I read how happy he was when he was able to tie it back for the raft ride.

So, I bet he convinced the producer's to figure out a way to do something about his hair. Kate commenting on it makes me think a haircut may not be too far in his future.

Okay ... so, reading the thread today gave me an idea about Kate's backstory ...

We know Wayne was actually Kate's father, and that she did not find out until shortly before she killed him. So finding out that he was her father is what tipped her over the edge.

I agree with the above person who indicated that she reacted very strongly when the marshall asked if Wayne had ever touched her.

What if Wayne molested her (or had sex with her after she was 18) and she got pregnant? Possibly even had the child but gave it up for adoption? THEN she finds out that Wayne is not just her stepfather, but that she had a child with her birth father? That could be a big part of why finding out he was her birth father tipped her over the edge. But also would be a reason why should would never want to admit it.

kms, I considered the sexual relationship part but not a child but only Kate didn't know Wayne was her father. If the step-father was away until her mom was 4 mos from delivery, then her mom and Wayne must have known the truth.

Am I remembering correctly that Kate went to visit her mom dying in the hospital last year and her mom started screaming at her like she was afraid. I'm missing the timeframe of when that occured because that was with the ex bf who got killed helping her escape right but yet she was caught pretty soon after the fire??? I think I need to rewatch Season 1.

Yes she did, that is why she went back to her hometown, her mom was dying.
Kate did get caught after the fire but she got away when the car she and the Marshall were in crashed into a tree. It looks like Kate has been on the run for a long time when she was finally caught in AU.

The worst thing about it for me is that when it finally does come back, I'll be out of town, so I won't get to see it for a few days until I get back!

Two ‘Lost’ stars charged with drunken driving

HONOLULU - Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros, who star on ABC’s “Lost,” were arrested within 15 minutes of each other in Kailua for allegedly driving under the influence of an intoxicant.

Both failed field sobriety tests and were released Thursday on $500 bail each, police said. The actresses, who were in separate cars, were arrested after their vehicles were spotted weaving on Pali Highway, which connects Kailua and Honolulu, police said.

Watros, who portrays Libby on “Lost,” was arrested at 12:05 a.m. Rodriguez, who plays Ana Lucia, was arrested at 12:20 a.m., according to police records. Rodriguez was booked under the name Mayte Michelle Rodriguez.

A telephone call left with Rodriguez’s publicist, Marcel Pariseau, wasn’t immediately returned Friday. Watros’ publicist, Dominique Appel, said Friday that she had no comment.

Rodriguez, 27, and Watros, 37, were to appear at a driver’s license revocation hearing at Kaneohe District Court on Dec. 29, police records showed.

Motorists arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant automatically have their driver’s licenses revoked. They are given a temporary license that allows them to drive, but under several restrictions.
