LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

DS, who goes to the spoiler sites, said there isn't a new episode until January.

I was like OMG when Walt said "dad".

Yes we had a preview:

Echo is doing a voiceover the 23rd Psalm. Claire walks up with the Virgin Mary state. Eacho smashes the Virgin Mary statue. Michael cocks a gun. We hear some growling. Charlie is climbing a tree and looks down at Echo, "Run!" Kaboom, something explodes and the camera rushes toward Echo. Then we see someones hand on the trigger of a gun. "I fear no evil" voiceover ends. Someone screams.

What? No new episode until January?? Didn't we just go through a 3-week hiatus? Not again . Why even bother showing us a preview. Grr! They didn't even mention in the preview that Lost doesn't return until January, so I think they're trying to trick us!

 I'm stupid, forget I asked that above question. I guess I was so shocked by the "Dad?" part I blanked it out.

The preview started with the words, "Coming up on Lost." A subtle indicator that's the future, not next week. ;) Last December, they showed repeats too, because that's when I first started watching.

As soon as Michael started typing, I said to my husband, "It's going to be Walt." Seriously, am I the only one who saw this coming? I'm getting annoyed with how easy it's been to figure some of these "twists" out!!!

Amy :)

I've been figuring out a lot, (like I said my family's getting annoyed) but I totally GASPED when it was Walt. :earseek:

While the end was intriguing, I wasn't too impressed with the rest of the episode (Kate's story & stupid horse). I mean, come on, Kate's "big" shocker is that she and her family are white trash. :rotfl: In a nutshell. The best parts of the episode, imo, were shirtless Jin :teeth: and the pure heaven that is the interaction of Locke and Eko, my absolute 2 favorite characters on the show.

Oh suuuuuure. It's easy to say "I knew that" once the episode is over

:earboy2:

Anyone notice Sayid in the tv behind kate when she went to see her father?

I'm suprised I didn't see the whole "Dad?" thing coming. It shocked me. I don't want to wait 6 weeks... especially since I'm sure they won't reveal if it was actually walt or not when new episodes return.

Just you wait. The next time I have Chick-fil-a, I am so gonna gloat! :teeth:

P.S. No, I didn't notice the Sayid thing, and darn it...we already erased the DVR!

I agree about Locke and Eko. Eko especially is quickly becoming my favorite! I did enjoy the rest of the episode, though. I think there's still a lot more to learn about Kate.

I'm really not finding Kate's backstory all that interesting. The flashbacks in this episode just seemed like a bad lifetime movie to me.

I agree about Eko. Hes becoming a favorite of mine too. And its frustrating because hes someone I want to know more about, but they're not telling us much about him. But thats to be expected from this show I guess.

Thats definitely (IMO) not all thats missing from that film. But who knows how long it'll be before anyone finds any other pieces.

OK, seriously, how did you see that? Did you get that from a spoiler site? That's amazing! Now that you pointed it out, I saw it too, but barely! :earseek:

I have still another hour to watch the show!!!
I will be sure to watch for Sayid on the tv! thanks! (I usually miss things like that)...........
Well, you all did not seem too impressed with the show overall........bits and pieces more or less it seemed. oh well. We can't have earth shattering shows EVERY week, can we? :confused3
oh boy......oh boy.......oh boy........oh boy......cannot wait.........

I admit, I cheated. :P Well, kind of. I just barely noticed and I thought it looked like him (like I said, the Kate backstory bothered me, so I was more looking for little tie ins to other characters) but I wasn't sure. So I perused a Lost messageboard and found a screencap someone had made.

Lost is my one spoiler free show. I've really gotta get tivo or something so that when I notice these things and then find out what I missed I can rewatch it instead of attempting to remember it.

I am SO hooked on this show.

Do you think anything will happen since Michael started "communicating" with the computer? The film said there may be another "incident" if anyone tried using the computer for anything other than entering the numbers.

Was that really Walt or was it maybe the Others trying to trick Michael?

Will anything actually happen if they don't punch in the numbers every 108 minutes?

Will I ever allow my children to utter a sound again on Wednesday nights between 8 and 9? ;)

I haven't posted in a while but I'm chiming in to say that the last two shows were awesome. The new characters rock!
