LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

My DH says the guy in the chicken suit is Hurley's boss, that's why he says, "Why is he here?" Why would Locke's boss or the gas station owner be in a chicken suit? Even if Hurley had bought the box company, what would be the significance of putting Locke's boss in a chicken suit?
Locke's boss and Hurley's boss are played by the same actor, FWIW.

I've checked the DVDs too, it is clearly a Dharma logo in Tabula Rasa

I didn't know if it was or not! WOW, I can't believe it. I really think that this plane was meant to crash on this island now. I also couldn't believe, watching season one, THE POLAR BEAR...that was CRAZY!!! My DH and I didn't watch first season thinking this was going to be a dumb show...wow were we wrong, but it's all good, it's better now just seeing one episode after another!

I saw a screencap and am not sure if it's the Dharma logo. It *could* be, but it's very faint.

I mean I wonder HOW in depth they are getting with this show. Watching the first season on DVD, I noticed a lot of phrases (lots of versions of "see you in another life") and numbers ($23K reward for Kate, 815 deposit box combo.)

The one thing I dislike about this second season is that I wish we'd see more character flashbacks. It's been a little "intrigue" heavy these first few episodes. I'm not really sure if I like the addition of Ana Lucia, but we'll see.

One thing is for sure -- the show is so much better WITHOUT commercials!

Time to check both tapes and DVD about the logo but it does make sense in a way

From USA Today - online edition:

Lost find of the day: Last week Hurley ate eight pieces of chicken, the countdown clock flashed a "42" and we learned that 23 people from the tail end of the plane survived. This fan site keeps track of all references to "the numbers" on Lost, and it might be a good spot to check for clues every Thursday morning: http://thelostnumbers.blogspot.com

While we're talking clues, here's one that has made the rounds on Lost blogs: If you type in "4.815 162.34" on Google Maps then zoom out, the coordinates reveal a location. Is this the island? Who knows.

BTW, because I thought that image of the back of the van looked suspiciously photoshopped, I went back to the episode (which I still had recorded) and looked.

There is indeed something on the back of the van as it pulls into the gas station, it's the right shape, but I don't have good enough resolution to say for certain it is a Dharma symbol. I think it is, though.

Which brings up a question a friend asked -- who owned the van? Was that Hurley's friend's van -- and if so, why was *he* driving a van with a Dharma symbol -- or Hurley's?

I too went back to my Tivo and checked. I saw something but couldn't really make out what it was.

Someone please help!!! I was teaching a class tonight and only saw the last 30 minutes. What happened at the beginning? None of the survivors know about Walt and the raft yet? I didn't see any of Jack at all :( Did they show the vault and keep entering the numbers?

Does Michael just want to be alone because he just wants to find Walt and doesn't want to do anything else before he finds him??

Is the Gordon fisherman guy with "others"??? There were 10 people that walked by when Jin and Echo were hiding.

I really hope that Ana-Lucia will remain in this attitude that she was in this worthless episode...or that she will get nicer and nicer.

I wonder who will get permanently lost in THREE WEEKS!!!??

WHY THREE WEEKS??????
