I don't know who he was with at the Emmy's but he's been dating the actress Barbara Hershey for like six years now. She's in her late 50s.

Dang, I wanted you to be wrong about Barbara's age, but I just looked it up and she is 57. Dang.....(will be 58 this coming February 5) should I look so pretty in another 8 years.......

I had not watched an episode of Lost until last weekend. We borrowed Season 1 from a friend and spent the whole weekend (and Columbus Day) watching it. The same friend let us borrow his tapes of the episodes of season 2 that have been shown so far.

I am now officially an addict and am joining this discussion!

I've been watching the Season 1 DVDs this weekend with my sisters but of course we had to get to Disc 5 and then got a bad DVD Grr...I wanted to finish it this weekend! I swear, this is the third DVD I've bought that's been crap. All sorts of colored boxes started appearing on the screen then it would pause. I can only get the first episode to start playing - the others wont even begin. So if you buy the DVDs make sure you check them for problems!

yep, he was with barbara hershey at the emmys. they've been together for 8 years now and seem very happy together. nice to see.

My husband had had a horribly stressful week at work and wanting nothing more than a relaxing weekend. We never do this kind of thing, but we had a blast. He went back to work feeling MUCH better, to say the least!

Ok, I spotted a new logo on the plane wreckage while watching the DVDs this weekend.

So, I learned on these boards about the DHARMA logo on the plane wreckage that is on the beach -- and where Walt is standing in front of it where you can see it. I saw the pictures of it online here but wanted to check the DVDs for myself to make sure it wasn't doctored. It wasn't because I found it in the last 5 minutes of the episode where Mike finds Walt's dog and is walking Vincent up the beach to Walt. It's during the last segment, when the music wrapup song is playing in the background. It's after the scene where SAyid is walking on the beach and the music is playing and SAyid throws an orange to SAwyer (who is awestruck at his humanity) then it shows some of the other (like Boone bringing Shannon sunglasses on the beach and then claire and Charlie), then Walt is shown walking on the wing and the wreckage behind him - there's the logo over HIS left shoulder.

But we all knew about that logo.

I found another one (I don't think I have heard it mentioned yet). It's on the episode AFTER 'White Rabbit.' It's the episode where they discover the cave and Adam and Eve there. And Jack and Kate are talking in the cave, getting water in their bottles. And the camera is on Jack and he says, "We don't need to bring the water to the people...we need to bring the people to the water." Then the camera goes back on Kate and on the plane wreckage in the jungle there behind her - it has a DHARMA logo on it...you can see 2/3 of the logo. It's on the plane in what look like smoke residue again. By the doorway of the wreckage...it's large, about the size of the doorway. Check it out!! It's very neat to find...

Luckily I am renting the episodes of the one you are talking about. IS that one of the symbols?? I don't know that I see that it's one of the Dharma symbols. It looks more like rips in the side of the plane. I don't know...someone else, can you help us??

I've checked the DVDs too, it is clearly a Dharma logo in Tabula Rasa (1.3). I haven't gotten to House of the Rising Sun (1.6, White Rabbit is 1.5) yet.

As I rewatch season 1, I've been pointing out anything I notice and things that seem of signifance know that we know more in the spolier thread.

My DH says the guy in the chicken suit is Hurley's boss, that's why he says, "Why is he here?" Why would Locke's boss or the gas station owner be in a chicken suit? Even if Hurley had bought the box company, what would be the significance of putting Locke's boss in a chicken suit?

The guy in the chicken suit is not the boss. The boss is white. The guy in the chicken suit is middle eastern. I've read he is the convenience store clerk.
