Okay, here's the new season thread as some of you have requested. We can try to figure out what's going on, but we'll save the spoilers for the Official Spoiler thread.

Here's what I just posted on the 'old' thread:

The entire second season is already outlined and approved by JJA. I think their philosophy is "answer a question, pose three more" We now know "what's in the hatch", but boy-o-boy do we have more questions now!

So if Desmond is inoculating himself against whatever is 'outside', have our people been contaminated? Which is probably why Desmond is NOT glad to see them.

Did anyone get a close look at the artwork painted/drawn on the walls....and then wasn't there a pile of paint cans that were covered in cobwebs too? Maybe Desmond isn't the original inhabitant. I hope somebody who taped it can give us some details that we couldn't catch while watching.

2) What was with Shannon seeing Walt?? What was he saying?

I don't think he was saying anything. I happened to have my closed captioning on and it said "whispers indistinctly". But, before that, right when Shannon sees him he said "Shhh", with his finger up to his mouth.

And does anyone think it's strange that Jack remembers Desmond, someone that he spoke to for 5 minutes, several years ago?

Several people have played what Walt said backwards and there is a little confusion about what he said, but its something like don't push the button, buttons bad or where is the button, buttons bad.

For those that missed it....here is what happened....

Locke and Kate got caught making out which totally ticked Jack off. So then, Sawyer tried to get in on the action and Kate told him to bugger off and pushed him into a volcano!!!

So then Jack decided to take a swim to blow off some steam and a big creature swam up and we don't know what happened to him!

Oooh, they also found another passenger from the plane that nobody has seen until now! Creeepy!

They really focused on Desmond's stash, but WOW Obi-Wan Pinobi what an excellent eye. I didn't catch that and can't wait to tell DH. He was ill with me last night when I deleted from the DVR. Know I'll never hear the end of it. Oh well. Bet they replay the first episode again.

Well, I'm new to the whole "LOST" phenomenon but boy oh boy did I get hooked last night!! I had watched part of 1 show during Episode 1 (when Locke calls a phone call-girl and tells her he bought 2 plane tickets for them and she tells him to bugger off, lol). My brother gave me the 10 second replay of the last show of Episode 1 and I just HAD to see what was down the hole!

So count me in for discussions! What a group of hotties, huh, lol?

The people on TWOP caught some good stuff. The patient who was brought in with Jack's women from the flashbacks was named Rutherford, the same last name as Shannon, we found out her Dad died in her flashbacks. So Jack's maybe wife hit and killed Shannon's father in a car accident in which Jack was the attending doctor.

I know it was mentioned briefly on the old Lost thread, but I just wanted to say that the single thing that intrigued me the most on this entire episode was the fact the QUARANTINE was on the inside of the door which was locked also on the inside. I think that tells something major about the island...what, I don't know yet

And I just have to say Jack's horrible scary awful disgusting ugly-as-sin mulletesque wig was hilarious. Poor Matt Fox had to wear that thing. I feel so sorry for him.

Considering the "miracle" with Sara aftwerward, that he predicted, no!

Yes, last name Rutherford, likely Shannon's dad.

Yes the vial had the numbers on it as well as the many references in painted on the walls in the underground bunker.

Walt said (backwards) that "the button is bad." Likely the computer execute button that Jack didn't push after Locke said "I wouldn't do that."

That was one butt ugly wig.

I'm more convinced than ever that JJ Abrams is a huge Myst and Magnolia fan.
