LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

People previously speculated the whole "Identity" scenario; it's so overdone so I'm guessing (hoping?) the writers are just using it as a red herring.

There was also a picture of the island, or an island anyway, in Hurley's doctor's office.

By the way does anyone happen to know when this episode was filmed? We could have sworn we saw Evan Handler in Hawaii at the beginning of March. We knew him from Sex and the City. I only found out after we returned that he would be appearing on Lost in the near future.

Okay, when Sawyer was getting his butt kicked by Hurley and he was trying to escape and kept getting dragged back under the tarp by his legs...

Was I the only one having flashbacks to the campy horor flick "Tremors"? :lmao:

Don't think it's a dream, I mean really what about all the back stories, do you really think Hurley has that kind of imagination ;) I do have a question about Libby though, 2 months on the island as a blond and no roots showing? Magic? Or is she one of the others who access to hair dye?

I am sure I have seen interviews with the producer who say it is not a dream thing. I think that Hurley's imaginary friend is kind of like the smoke that showed pics from Eko's past, this is just another form of that, connected to something they are doing on that island. I think the Libby's brown hair was the dye job and the blond is the natural. I kind of figured that's where Hurley knew Libby from.

Goodfaires- not sure how long it is between filming to showing, in things I have heard about other shows it can be a couple weeks to a couple of months. I think that it can take them up to 8 days to shot an episode of Lost so it's possible that you did see him.

Maybe she is a natural blond and in the institution her hair was brown. Hopefully we'll find out more about why she was in there.

According to the following timeline, Hurley was released from the place a year before the plane crashed. No indication of when he went in.

This was one of those episodes that I'd like to watch again. Was anyone else upset with Hurley for wasting all that food? Wasting it seemed more selfish than hording it! What about everybody else?

Brilliant episode!! :thumbsup2 When they were standing together on the cliff at the end I thought maybe she would fall off but no such luck.
I was LMAO at the Hurley and Sawyer rumble under the tent!! Did anyone see Jin's biceps?!
I would like to see the episode again because I think I could pick up a lot more details the second time around.
I agree the casting of Henry was excellent. :thumbsup2
Can't wait until next week!!! :Pinkbounc

That really ticked me off. Also, Hurley said he tried to "give the food away" but there were no takers (so he hoarded it), yet everyone was all over the new "food drop" likes bees on honey.

And Sawyer tossing away a Dharma Oreo because it didn't split the way he wanted it to? I'm not buying it.

Right, there's the Oreo, too. So we're to believe that people stranded on an island with no food will just throw it away when food drops from the sky.

Hi  I'm usually a reader not a poster....

But I was torn between American Idol & Lost and somehow I fell asleep.

Can someone give me a brief recap?

I agree with everyone about the food, I wonder if they assume that more food will come from the sky. Nobody seemed that concerned about saving it.

Not that it means anything on the show, but Libby was a blond when she was on another TV show I used to watch

Also what is everyone's theory about not punching the numbers into the computer?

coincidence that food shows up when the numbers weren't punched in ??

I laughed when everyone ran past Hurley for the "food drop", I couldn't believe no one noticed all the wasted food thrown on the ground. You think the smell alone would clue someone in.

And when Sawyer tossed that cookie, I was just rolling my eyes. I would be savoring every crumb!

I just did not find these scenarios believable at all. :sad2:

::yes:: Remember how Jack saw his dad on the island at the very beginning? I think Dave is the same sort of thing.

I was thinking about all of this last night. I don't think they would reveal a major plot development like a dream or hallucination this early in the show. Is it possible that the island/Others are making this happen to Hurley? I have a horrible memory (so I might be forgetting others), but it read the mind/past of Eko, possibly Locke, so maybe that's what we were seeing last night.

What about Henry's comment that God can't see that island? I think it must be a pretty significant clue but I'm not sure what to make of it. It makes me think of the worm hole or wrinkle in time thing again.

Did anyone notice the sinister looking grin Henry had in the previews for next week?

I need to watch it again too. I'm sure I missed lots of things.

I was thinking about his comment too. His comment brought me back to the purgatory theory, but the writers said they are not in purgatory. So I guess I'm back to square one as to where they are. :scratchin
