LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

Did anyone ever catch a glimspe of Henry Gale's feet? I remember the Others didn't wear shoes, but by the time I remembered - when they put him in the vault - I didn't feel like rewinding to check. His feet were not shown for the rest of the episode, that I saw.

HAHAHAHAHA!! I got my 17-year old daughter addicted to Lost. I was watching some of Season 1 on DVD last night and she came in while Dominic was onscreen and ended up sitting with me through three episodes. She drove me crazy with all her questions! She was pretty good - she picked up the Lock and Rousseau references right away. With no school today, she's upstairs continuing where we left off last night.

The same thing happened to my college daughter over the Christmas break. She started watching the Season 1 DVD's because there was "nothing else to watch" and got hooked! Now that she's working at WDW as a CP, she's resorted to downloading episodes from iTunes so that she can keep up!

I can download episodes through iTunes? I've been watching for repeats of the two episodes prior to the 2/15 one that I missed. Does anyone know the titles of those episodes? Thanks.

Never mind, I found them on the ABC website. The Lost Con and Fire + Water

I think that Lost will have a few surprises that we don't know about!!My opinion is that they are all dead and they are being tested about their life lived.Sort of a purgatory!!What do you all think?

Sorry, the producers have already said that they are not in purgatory. They think it is an interesting idea but no go. :)

Wow, you guys catch so much stuff that I didn't even notice!!
Like Kates mom being the waitress, her dad being the officer, Sayid being in the training video a while back, I didn't even notice!
I finally just watched the last two episodes last night.
Gotta say, I was hoping for some romance between Kate and Sawyer, but I wonder if it will happen now that he has gotten all powerful and mean. :confused3
Bummer, I was hoping for some good romantic scenes!

I am bummed that Charlie is turning out to be Sawyers puppet.
But notice how everyone is 'mad' at him, but he keeps chatting with them all on the beach (Hurley, Sayid, Sawyer).
Now Charlie and Claire won't have any romance either.

I need to see some love and romance!!

Show Bernard and Rose or Jin and Sun be loving then at least!!

What a tease I knew tonight was a repeat but at the end of that Freddie show they said stay tuned for an all new LOST I got excited for a minute...

They shoe hanging for them tree in the opening scene. hmm never saw noticed that before stange that they would focaus on that

Enough with the reruns. Bring on the new stuff! pixiedust:

I can't believe how addicting this show is.

I want to know more about the button and what happens when they don't press it!I would like to see more of the characters that are in the background that they have not introduced yet in the show! What about the noises that they first heard from the beginning of the series.Let me know what you all think!Would love to hear from you! Thanks!

I'm glad I got my dear daughter into Lost. She picked up on something I don't believe was mentioned yet (at least I could find it when I searched the thread). In episode Exodus: Part 1 Rousseau mentions her comanion Montaigne, who had lost an arm. We've talked enough about the connections to other philosophers - Locke, Rousseau. Do a search on Michel de Montaigne. He was a Renaissance Scholar who essays anout the humility of man. I picked up on this one description:

Montaigne seeks to humble man's pride: "...there is a plague on Man, the opinion that he knows something." This skepticism is connected with the doctrine of Christian "folly" which says that God's wisdom is to be found in the lowly and the meek, and that the belief that one has knowledge prevents one from accepting the truths of religion. (One can find this tradition in Pico della Mirandola and Erasmus and others as well). Montaigne is famous for arguing that man is not in any way superior to the beasts, in fact, quite the contrary.

Lucky Me! My neighbor just got back from London where she helps put on Star Trek Conventions and autograph signing events. Well I am now the proud owner of a Gorge Garcia autoghraph picture. Woo Hoo She said he is very nice and down to earth except for the blond model girlfriend who was attached to his hip. She tried to get some secrets from him as she was his host for most of the day but no luck! ;)

This is very interesting, what you posted above: "In episode Exodus: Part 1 Rousseau mentions her comanion Montaigne, who had lost an arm."

...The reason I think it is interesting is because the asian man in the orientation video obviously has a prosthetic arm...connection between the 2 men? Maybe somehow they are the same man? Maybe Rousseu thought her crew were dead or that she killed them or they got sick and died (I forget her explanation), but maybe they didn't (even though she thought they were) and went to one of the hatches and got involved in Dharma, etc. or the others took them and 'recruited' them or something...

there are lots of people with missing limbs in Lost. the farmer Kate worked for in Australia, the woman who Hurley met in Australia (when he was looking for the guy about the numbers) to name two. It seems to be an on-going theme.

LOST aired 2 hours early in Canada tonight! I didn't even know it was going to be a new episode!

I don't want to spoil anything...I'll just say we learn some new things! Lots of new clues to analyze after this episode.
