Lost my room due to a coupon code!!!

I am soooo irritated right now. I had my reservations exactly the way I wanted them. Deluxe pool view at AKL - king bed/day bed combo. I booked them myself online. I called several times to verify. I read on here at the DIS about coupon codes so I found one, called and had it applied. NOT ONCE did the CM tell me that my view would change. As a matter of fact, I specifically asked about the view and if it would be changed by applying the code and I was told "NO". Now, I just called to confirm everything again (and to ask to add another night), and was told that I have a water/pool view and that it is NOT the deluxe pool view. This means (per CM) that I will be on a bottom floor and most likely be looking at a tree, as well as in a smaller sized room. I was also told that I can not request a "non obstructed view" as I've also read on here.
I can not add a night to my reservations, I can not change my reservations in any way (upgrade, etc) because it is "booked solid".

WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING MYSELF CRAZY THESE PAST FEW MONTHS WITH ALL THE PLANNING IF IT IS GOING TO FALL APART AT THE LAST MINUTE?????????:sad2: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:
 
Call and speak to someone else - You'll get different information from every Disney CR employee.

I've never heard of a company where so many employees were on different pages regarding company policy and information. It's not worth getting upset over. It'll never change.

If all else fails, ask to speak to a supervisor.

It's sad - It used to be, every other CRO you'd speak to was rude or ueless. Now, I'd say it's 2 out of every 3.

I have been dealing with a similar problem. I booked a room only AAA months ago at CR. Called DTC to change it to a package with AAA. The CM told me to change it with her and then take my reservation # to AAA and have them add their code for the discount. Unfortunately you probably already guessed--Disney told AAA that the discounts were no longer available. But, after AAA had no luck I took it into my own hands and called on Sat. I was lucky and got a super nice CM named Brody who was willing to take the time to read the notes left from the last booking agent and then went to Guest Services. Her extra effort saved my almost $300. Call back and be patient. Maybe you'll get a nice cm like Brody too. :cheer2: Good luck!!
