Yes, but it was very odd to run thru the castle to a BeeGees ballad! With all of the justified frustration and complaints around the course today, I wanted to throw out one thing that I've found to be a big improvement this weekend over previous: the music.
Rather than the hyper-focus on a small playlist of Disney and current pop hits that we've had during previous weekends, it feels like this weekend's music has been much more varied. Along with the appropriate Disney songs, we've had classical pieces, as well as music from older artists like The Bee Gees and Earth, Wind & Fire. I've really enjoyed it.
Oh how funny! What was her bib number?@The Expert imagine my surprise when a couple of great running shots of you ended up in my photo pass! You happened to be just in front of my DD!![]()
So sorry you weren’t able to run. I ran wine and dine on a stress fracture and haven’t run since. In hindsight I should have made a different decision on race morning. Hopefully you heal fast and will be back out there soon!I shared with some yesterday that my leg injury (shin splints or stress fracture) might prevent me from running this weekend. After really debating about it, I decided to not run today (I heard the voice of @garneska cautioning me!). I felt like I was only going to potentially be able to walk with pain and was wondering what longer-term damage I would do.
I wasn't going to sleep in on Marathon Weekend, so my wife and I still got up at 2:30 and headed to Main Street to cheer (she's better at it than me) and watch (my preference). We were there from beginning to end. It was a lot of fun (although not as fun as running).
Seeing the balloon ladies was a bit anticlimactic. The sweepers did allow a single person who was behind the balloon ladies to run up Main Street before taking her off the course. A couple of them on bikes were even taking photos/videos to capture the moment. It was nice to see.
I believe they do.Well that run went better than expected!
Does anyone know if they have sunscreen at the medical tents?
But I loved it and sang along. It was an odd choice.Yes, but it was very odd to run thru the castle to a BeeGees ballad!
Speaking from experience- they sometimes run out if you’re in the back of the pack.I believe they do.
It’s about as easy a drive as there is. He shouldn’t have any problems.Has anyone driven from swan to Epcot on marathon morning? DH wants to spectate but doesn’t want to take buses. I’m nervous about it!!
Maybe invisibility is your previously unknown superpowerI am sure someone knows. What is the code to link to photo pass? Thought I guessed correctly, said link successful but no pics.

It’s on your check-in pass.I am sure someone knows. What is the code to link to photo pass? Thought I guessed correctly, said link successful but no pics.

I’m terrible at reading the road closure map. Will he have to take a different route? And if so, I’m guessing tha will be easy to figure out? It’s about as easy a drive as there is. He shouldn’t have any problems.
