LOST - Last Season (NO SPOILERS)

Ack? Jears? I'm having a senior moment. I don't get the references.

You are out of the loop! You MUST read this! It's a blog, she does recaps of each episode and she's hilarious!!!

Jears is in reference to the fact that before this season Jack had a major track record of crying in nearly every episode. Jack's tears=jears. You just have to read it. :-)

I appreciated her leniency towards Jears this episode.

We had Jears but I’m going to allow them considering we were all crying too.

That's kind of what I was thinking too. I saw the Jears and thought "oh haha JEARS!!" and then thought "oh crap, I'm crying too - the Jears are justified!!" :upsidedow

:thumbsup2 Right there with you!

DS informed me that this was all Sawyer's fault. I prefer to think that all of this was meant to happen. I'm glad that Sayid did the right thing though.

I guess that Hurley might be having a few extra conversations.

Thanks. I do remember the references to the Ack Attack. Just forgot. Someone posted an excerpt here and it was hilarious.

I was thinking about that last night. The beginning of the season had us all feeling like Sawyer should have been the leader all along. he stepped up when Jack was all messed up. But now Jack's right and it's a bit annoying to me. I wonder if they are trying to make us not super attached to him cuz he'll die in the end to protect everyone and kill Smokey?

Before the episode started I said to my DH, "I wonder if Sayid will do something really good tonight since ya know he didn't kill Des." DH was like, no way, he's all evil now. Haha I was right.:thumbsup2

If you ever have some time to kill, it's better than lolcatz!:scared1::laughing:

I was shocked to find it not blocked <shhh> and read last week's summary. I work with guys who don't watch TV and couldn't explain to them why i was laughing so hard.

Did Sawyer die at the end? I know a lot of posters on this forum will kill me for even suggesting such a thing, but the way Jack walked away gave me the feeling that Sawyer didn't survive. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't think he died - he was coughing and whatnot. Plus I thought Jack said something about how Sawyer hit his head pretty hard, but he'd be okay.

I have been lurking on this thread and am a huge fan of LOST. Last night's episode was heart breaking...it took so long for Sun and Jin to be together again and then to have that happen. Hurley crying really got to me though.:guilty:

Well how is that going to work? Will the local newscast be delayed and then the Jimmy Kimmel Show come on after the news?

Yup. Here's a good link that explains it:

http://www.tvsquad.com/2010/05/05/abc-extends-lost-series-finale-again/

Here's the schedule:

LOST: The Final Journey (a retrospective) -- 7pm ET
LOST: The End (pts 1 and 2) -- 9pm ET
Local News -- 11:30pm ET
Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to LOST -- 12:05am ET

ALSO, Saturday night (the 22nd) they're re-airing the 2 hour pilot with the information pop-ups! So looks like it'll be a whole LOST weekend. :woohoo:

Wonder if there will be a whole boxed set of the series?

Wonder if there will be a whole boxed set of the series?

I have little doubt that they will. There is also so much added content that they can add to the set that it's sure to be a big hit at release.

For anyone interested, seasons 1-5 are available on Instant Watch at Netflix.

I was just thinking of the irony in the fact that Locke became paralyzed in a plane crash in the sideways timeline, but it the regular timeline, it was a plane crash that led to him being healed.

I thought it was interesting that Sawyer blames Jack for the decisions Jack made which got Juliette killed, and then Sawyer makes decisions that get Sayid, Jin & Sun killed.

I thought it was just plain cruel to finally reunite Sun & Jin and then kill them off. And I too was thinking, Jin get out, you have a daughter.

Slightly off topic:

Just saw that Kevin Durand (Keamy) is in the new Robin Hood movie! He plays Little John. :)

.

That's right, there was not a new episode last week, they re-aired the episode with Richard's back story in it. Last night was a new episode. :)
