Lost Functionality on DISboards

I posted a thread on the Technical Support board a couple of weeks ago but so far the only feedback has been from multiple others saying they're having similar problems. Is anyone looking into the functionality on DISboards that no longer works?
  • Links spin for many websites but don't actually load
  • Unable to reference individuals (e.g. @scrappinginontario)
  • Unable to add a countdown ticker
Thanks!

@scrappinginontario - Yes, I have had issues with the "suggested member list" popping up when referencing somebody, like you mentioned, but I figured it was just me. (Always do). I see your name is till highlighted though - did you get a notification like usual?

Haven't had issues, or noticed, other issues, but thank you for trying to bring them to Tech Support's attention. Hopefully they'll look into, and fix, soon.

No notification received. Hoping posting here brings a new set of eyes to the challenges many are having with regular board functionality.

I agreed, the problems have been well noted, I also think it's ridiculous people have to email them. There is a technical board, either the admins should monitor it or delete it.

The tagging issues makes the mods job harder as people can't tap mods when there is either a really good question or a thread going off the rails.

If you do want to alert a mod do use the report feature. That at least still works.

Thank you, @WebmasterMaryJo, I just emailed to the address you gave, and cut/pasted your post, @scrappinginontario.

Thank you so much @WebmasterMaryJo!! I will email them to ensure they are aware of the problems. I greatly appreciate your suggestion!

Update: email has been sent.

That's three emails they got because I sent one, too. :)

I agree with Ryan - the best way to get the attention of mods and webmasters is to report a post or thread. All of us see those reports. Tagging mods would be inefficient as only those mods would see the post. The exception would be maybe on the Tech Board.

I'm guessing you guys roll your eyes when you see my name and it's like, 'Oh no, it's Tattle Tale again'. :rotfl2:
It’s definitely helped especially in recent months with fast moving very long threads where we may miss things.

Again, I agree with Ryan. We appreciate reported posts because we just can't read all the threads, so community help is greatly appreciated.
