Lost DVC Member Card

Has anyone ever lost their membership card? My wife seems to have misplaced hers. I called up member services about 9 weeks ago and told them about it and they said that they would send a new one immediately but I have not recieved it.

call them back and say you haven't received it.

then call back every 2 to 3 weeks until you receive one.

It may take as many as 3 or 4 calls to get it.

then you might get 1 or 2 cards.....

If you have a trip planned before your card(s) arrive, you can stopat the sales center at SSR and get a temporary card, if you need it for discounts.

But as Pat said, for someo reason, replacemet cards often take a long time. They are prepared and mailed by an outside firm.

I have misplaced mine again, for the 3rd time, I don't know what I do with them The first time I had to call a few times before I got it, the
2nd time I got it right away, We will see this time, it has only been 3 days since I requested it.

Do you have to pay for replacement cards?? I don't have mine either. I'm sure I could find it with a little bit of searching but why not have an extra so I have one at home and one in my purse?

No, I forgot mine one trip, I went by and Picked one up.

I called MS and asked for another card.... and it arrived in the mail in 5 days! And I'm in Ontario, Canada!

I was told that they do -Batch- printing of the cards, and wait until they have X Amount of cards to print before running them off... So Some people have to wait a long time, and others get them right away.. just depeneds on how many other's have requested cards before they did.

We stopped in at the Sales Center in early December to request a new card. They gave us a temp card and said it would take 6-8 weeks for the new one to arrive - which it did ... about 7 weeks later.

The first time I ordered a replacement for a worn-out card it came within 2 weeks. This fall I had to order new cards because my wallet was stolen. I never received them. I called MS two weeks ago to make a ressie and remembered to request new cards. We received them yesterday.
