So I'm puzzled over the previews for next week. Sawyer left on the raft, correct? Well the previews for next week seem to show him on land??? Also shows him diving off the raft? Hmmmm... think he changes his mind about going on the raft? :confused3
I thought the same thing so I paused the tape and slowly advanced forward. Sawyer is definitely on the raft.

I have it on tape but I'm currently re-watching from the beginning. Did I see Charlie punch out Sayid in the previews for next week?

yep...wondering if that has something to do with Claire or with the hatch (he won't let them open it to hide)? not sure. should be interesting. okay, 6 more days. I feel like a kid counting down for christmas. lol

OK, according to another website the ship is/was named The Black Rock. I re-watched it and could see that there was writing on the ship, but I couldn't make out the words "Black Rock". Anyone notice this?

Oh, and after re-watching I agree it does look like an old pirate ship. It's still in pretty good shape, which is interesting.

On a side note, ABC has announced that Lost will be aired one hour later on Wednesday nights next season (9pm EST)

That will interefere with American Idol results show. I thought it was great this year that they were not on at the same time.
Thank goodness for DVR!

"I think Leslie's a b*tching name"

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

LOVE IT!!!! hehehehe I'm sorry...that line totally cracked me up last night

and can someone explain how the "black rock" ended up in the middle of the forest?
that must have been one b*tching (heheh) wave to get it that far in...didn't look like it was near a beach.

Here in Canada Lost will be televised on thursday next week because of the American Idol finale being live 2 hours on wednesday. It's great that I don't have to choose but it will be hard waiting an extra day to watch the last episode of Lost!

Of course we didn't get to see the previews for next week either.

Great episode!! Learned a lot!

I never thought it was Danielle's ship. I guess it could be, but that never occurred to me. Maybe because it looks so old.

I never heard anyone last night on the show say that it was her ship. Locke asked if she had any more explosives and she said she had dynamite and that it was at the "Black Rock". It looked like a pirate ship to me. pirate:

There has to be more to that girl at the airport because she just didn't "fit" IMO. Her conversation with Jack was just odd...somethings not right there. I can't my finger on it, but something didn't seem right. :confused3

She's probably living on the island with the rest of the passengers that supposedly died on the plane........... :confused3

I also noticed too that Charlie punches Sayid next week. I wonder if Charlie become "infected". Remember Locke saying they want Sayid on their side, maybe he knows what is going to happen.

I also think the raft will end up back on the island. It will probably turn out that they can't get off, can't escape.

I'm also interested in seeing what this monster could be, since the French woman said it was a security system. I wonder if it is just some mechinal thing that makes a lot of noise to scare people away and is not a monster at all. Although, if Danielle knew that's what it was, she wouldn't have been so scared :confused3

I'm surprised Sayid has never brought up his bag to Shannon. I wonder if he remembers it was her he had asked to watch his bag.

It was nice seeing Boone again. I guess even though he was "killed" off, they can still keep him on for flashbacks. :flower:

What was up with the scratches on Danielle's arm? I wonder how she got them.

I was wondering about the scratches too. You know bushes didn't cause that ;)

I forgot to comment about Kate's storyline last night. We now know that the marshall is the one who put the plane in the safe deposit box, but we don't know how he figured out the plane meant so much to her. Granted she loved Tom, but who would think she would risk so much just to get something he owned. I'm still confused by this.
I guess Tom is the man she "killed", because that's what the marshall had said, although we still don't know why she was running in the first place. :confused3

Fantastic episode! The island hasn't been spooky for a long time, so I was happy to see them return to that angle.

I teared up at the end when the dog tried to swim out to the raft.

I was thinking the same thing!

Ok, so I have missed a few episodes, and have a few questions:

1) So, the French woman is the one they heard on the scanner they put together at the beginning of the show, right? How/when did she come into the picture?

2) How did the brother of the blonde girl die?

3) Why is Mike so darned hot? ;)

On a recent broadcast of 20/20, the actor who plays Locke talked about the fact that his character is the only one who has seen the monster clearly (it happened in the second or 3rd episode. The monster was off camera, but Locke was obviously looking directly up at it). The actor was not told what the monster was, so he asked for some sort of description so that he could figure out how to play the scene. He was told "Imagine you are seeing the most beautiful thing you have ever seen".

Note that Locke was the only one who didn't run away when the monster was heard last night. Instead he told Hurley to just stay still and he never seemed afraid.

Last night's episode was awesome. I was listening to my local morning show on the radio and they are really into LOST too. They have heard that the radio transmission that Boone made on the plane when he died was to the survivors of the plane crash. Boone said we are the survivors of flight (I forget the number) and they said no we are the survivors.

I bet this girl that Jack met at the airport is with the lady's husband on another part of the island. Wouldn't that be a cool twist. Maybe the hatch leads to them. Maybe its a Parallel island or another part of the island.

This show is just so cool how you have to pay attention to the smallest details and then later on they make sense. Its also so cool how everyone had all these strange connections to each other. Like Hurley being on the TV while Jin was at the guys house roughing him up.

Lost ROCKS!

just got back from WDW and guess who was staying at concierge at AKL? Evangeline and Dominic! ran into them a couple of times at the kilamanjaro club! Also, saw then one morning doing the safari-- but can't figure out why they wouldn't do the sunrise safari!!

Cracked me up too!!! and wonder why Leslie is becoming a forefront character? And I was totally shocked to see the "black rock".... hummmmm.
I love this show. I can't believe that everything is 'going to make sense' as they said on the 20/20 interview, by the finale. I think we will just have more questions to bug us through the whole summer!!

Ok, so I have missed a few episodes, and have a few questions:

1) So, the French woman is the one they heard on the scanner they put together at the beginning of the show, right? How/when did she come into the picture?

After Sayid tortured Sawyer (trying to get Shannon's inhalers), he took off for a while to map the island and deal with his guilt. He was captured by the french woman and tortured...finally came to light who she was and eventually he was able to get free. She was on another episode (numbers) when Hurly went looking for her to try to find some answers. The 2 kind of shared a bond about how evil the numbers were.

2) How did the brother of the blonde girl die?

He and Locke were digging up the Hatch and at some point came across an airplane suspended in the canopy. Locke's legs were giving way (or he was pretending they were) so Boone climbed up to check out the plane. plane crashed down, injuring Boone severely. Locke carried Boone to the caves to Jack and said he fell off of a cliff, then took off before any other questions came up. Jack blames Locke for Boone's death since he wasn't informed of the plane and crushing, apparently thinking it may have changed his course of treatment.

3) Why is Mike so darned hot?

who? sorry, can't see past Sayid's eyes, Sawyers body, and Jack's goodness.

Ok, so I am a total loser! I meant Jack! He looks like an old neighbor of ours who was named Mike! :rotfl:
