Add me to the list of really liking this episode! I have a new appreciation/like for Jin now. I was very surprised though when Sun wanted to "start over" and he said it was too late. And I must say, on a related note, that Sun looks amazing in a bikini!

Sayid and Shannon...would have never guessed those two together when the show first started but I think they make a really cute couple. I'm jealous!

I thought the end was funny with Hurley listening to the cd player and then it just died. I was wondering how he could have any batteries left just as it went off! Too funny!

Looking forward to next week already!!

I loved that scene with Hurley too. You think the show's going to end with the song playing and then the batteries die. Totally unexpected. Did anyone catch the next scene with Hurley in the foreground and Claire in the background? Their profiles looked similiar and Hurley looks at her then looks down. Sooo cute!!

I agree about Sun looking amazing in the bikini. At the beginning of the show before they did a close up I thought it was Kate.

This was one of the best written and most developed show of the season. I love all of the characters!

I was so envious of Sun in her bikini, only in my wildest dreams could I ever look like that. She is a beautiful woman.

I really thought Jin spoke english, but I don't think so now. I think he might understand some words, but I think he just turned around when Sun was yelling at him, because it got his attention because she was screaming in English. I am still VERY mad at him.

I saw Hurley on the TV too! Rewound the Tivo to make sure I wasn't imagining it and yep it was him!!

Anyone know what the name of the song that was playing on Hurley's discman before it died?? I really liked it.

I give up on trying to guess things about this show!?! I thought Jin spoke English too - my guess is that when Sun was talking to him in English at the end - he didn't know exactly what she was saying but got the jist of it by reading her eyes seeing how upset she was. She did ask him about startin gover in Korean though - so I think that' why he answered "it's too late" - you know a story is really good when the subtittles don't get in the way and you can't remember what was said in English and what was in subtitles.

Just re-watched the show myself, to check a couple of things. What does everyone else think about the part just before Michael starts beating on Jin and they show Jin trying to "listen" to the guys hold Michael back and it is not English, but sounds more like gibberish or even sounded like a recorded being played backwards. To me, that gives me the impression that Jin does NOT understand English (because this is what he is hearing).

I got Hurley on the TV the first time around but did not catch him and Claire in profile and then he looks at his stomach. Too funny.

It is just after the explosion and he is standing in the woods (before he is held up by the guns). It sounds like he says "she" and then something else. I can't understand it. I have played it back several times.

I had to replay that part to check if I could understand it.... sounds like he says "suppose she hit us" or "hid us" ..... although i'm not sure

I'm thinking Jin will be the one who will be killed off. He really has no place on the show if he is not with Sun. They can always hook Sun up with Michael (and it looks like it's heading that way), but who can they hook Jin up with. The fact he doesn't speak English will make it pretty impossible for him to connect with anyone.

Did anyone read the translation of the non-subtitled dialogue in the show last night? I found it posted on another website. It leads to two pretty interesting realizations. I will post it if no one objects.
