Has everyone gotten a backstory or about to get one?

We still have not heard Hurley's backstory or Rose's (the woman who feels her husband is still alive) I think those are the only two who we see on a regular basis.

What I don't understand is why are they showing a repeat next week. Didn't they just take a break? What's up with that. I hate waiting till the next show!

Hurley's is coming. See my previous post. I haven't heard anything about Rose having one.

I think it's interesting the Michael's backstory is the first one without a real hidden secret. He was basically a good dad who had his son taken from him. Othe than lying that he was Walt's guardian instead of telling him that Brian simply didn't want him - he has no secret like we have seen from Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Sayid, Locke, Boone, Shannon, Sun, Charlie and Claire. I think Michael is there only because of Walt and s "secret" he may have - whether he knows the secret or not.

Also, intersting point that has nothing to do with the storyline. Do you think the Hurley character is going to have to start dropping some serious weight in order to stay true to form to being stranded on an island. They have hardly any food and I think at his size we would start seeing some serious weight loss ala Tom Hanks in Cast Away - just a thought.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I hadn't seen it yet. Was on ABC.com today and saw some videos of the LOST cast being interviewed. I loved the one where they were asked about 1 item they'd like to have if stranded on an island. And Sawyer looked HOT!

Is a romance brewing on the set of "Lost"? USA Today says Evangeline Lilly, 25, and erstwhile Hobbit Dominic Monaghan, 28, were "inseparable" at the Golden Globes, and even engaged in some PDA. Lilly, a Canadian actress who came out of nowhere to snag the role of Kate on the smash ABC series, was supposedly spotted smooching Monaghan's neck during the evening.

Ok, I've read the theories about an alien spaceship crashing and that, too, seems plausible. I believe whoever casted the characters knew EXACTLY the double entendre when they cast "The French Woman." You knoe who she used to play for 5 years - Delenn, the Ambassador from Babylon 5. She represented the religious caste of her race (which I can't think of right now).

As for the island "wanting children", that's a typical storyline from a lot of different mysteries. I think the creator's of "Lost" probably have a different "use" for them.

I KNOW WHAT IT IS....I JUST FIGURED IT OUT. The children all end up on, yes, you guessed it boys and girls, they end up at DisneyWorld - they are the new figures of "It's A Small World......." sorry, couldn't resist

Ok, I was finally able to watch the tape of this week's episode and my tape cut off the end! ARGH!!!!!! I did NOT realize Claire was back until I read it here!!! The last part I saw was Charlie reading the part in the diary about how Claire felt safe with him....then he looked at another page and was shocked about something...then it cut off!!!!!! CAn someone fill me in???

Charlie goes to Jack and Sayid and tells them he's been reading the diary. Here's the jist of the conversation:
Charlie (reading from the diary) : I had that wierd dream again the one with the black rock that I can't get away from. I try to leave it but it won't let me.
J: They're just dreams, Charlie
C: No Sayid mentioned the black rock before
S: The French woman said something about her people returning from the black rock (at least this is what it sounds like he's saying). The triangle on the map. maybe it's the triangle on the map
C: maybe it's where Claire was taken, maybe she's there
J: Maybe. Charlie we all want to find Claire but there's no sense going out in the jungle in the middle of the night

Fades to Locke and Boone walking through the jungle trying to find Vincent (the dog). Locke is using some kind of whistle.
Boone: I don't think that whistle's working John.
Locke: You can't hear everything Boone, the sooner you learn that the better.
There's a rustle in the leaves
B: I heard that. Vincent, Vincent, is that you?
Locke pulls out his knife
B: Vincent!
Leaves continue to rustle, camera pans to leaves, Claire walks out looking scared and disheveled (sp?)
L: Claire?
