Locke was definitely acting very strange last night, and just as I was thinking he was the spiritual leader of the bunch. And what's up with the black and white, first his backgammon pieces, then his eyes in Claires dream??? Ewwww.

I think Alex was an older kid when their boat crashed. He must still be alive, because she was asking Sayid where he was. So many questions, and no answers. But I love it! I totally agree it could take years to answer the current questions, yet every week they add more. And I eat it all up!!!!

Claire knows there was no couple in LA, because she and Charlie realized the psychic new the plane would crash, that's why he said it had to be that flight she was on.

LOL!! No!!! It aggravated me again when Hurley was looking for the manifest and it was *of course* with Sawyer. Ooohh, it aggravates me to no end that they let him get away with hoarding everything, like they're all afraid of him or something. At least he was nice about it this time.

Boone, not really worried about him. (OK, I love his eyes. He and Dimples can do no wrong. ) I think it depends how long ago he was a lifeguard. I was a guard for four years and had to be certified every year for CPR, but that was 5 years ago and I'm not sure I could do it correctly now! Plus, even a good swimmer can cramp and nearly drown.

Have I mentioned how much I hate this time slot - During the Ethan Scenes we were having bed time issues with my son so my husband and I were running back and forth upstairs to his room trying to catch these last crucial minutes.

But JJ Abrams isn't normally that whacked out with his plot lines - you just usually go and hit your head and wonder why you didn't see it. He doesn't seem to write X-Files type plots.

Danielle said that Alex was her "child". So we don't know how old/young he/she was. Also just because she said "child" doesn't mean that Alex is a person (some people consider their pets children) or a even a "human being" (it was a scientific expedition -- who knows what they were up to) She also said that "they" (the others in the party) were infected (and hence she killed them). So were they infected or is she? And how many of the crashees have been infected?

In the episode with the french lady - she never said that Alex was a boy...just referred to him/her/it as her "child". Didn't she also refer to there being "others" on the island besides herself and her shipmates? I was also under the impression that Alex was born on the island...

I LOVE this show - just really hate to have to wait a week to see the next episode!

Yes, both both those incidents happening? Not just one or the other, but both? This show has no accidents--everything happens for a reason. Dimples aside (and dam#, he is cute), I still think he is misrepresenting himself. We'll see though!

As for Locke, he lost me when he sicced Sayid on Sawyer. And didn't he give him a knife, too? Or was that just the kid? He gives me the creeps now. But I like his character anyway, and his backstory took my breath away. You don't get surprised much on TV, but when he came out from behind the desk in the wheelchair, it took my breath away.

Yup - that's how Claire can = Alex. But its just a wild theory. She just was too chipper in the interview I read about what happens to her and she will be a regular.

I just finished watching my tape......I dont have any insightful things to add....just wanted to check in......( I was avoiding you all till I finished watching! )

as for the bedtime thing....that's why I tape it on my VCR and watch in peace while kids are at school!! LOL!.....plus then I dont have to watch commercials either!

There have been so many good ideas about his name being an anagram. This is a good one. Another thing I've heard (from a Canadian on the lost message boards) is the ROM could stand for Royal Ontario Museum which is a cultural and natural history museum. Interesting since he said he was from Ontario. Gosh, there are so many directions this show can go. I just can't wait to know more!

LOL-We're leaving next Wednesday for WDW. I told DH we're driving until close to 7 or 8pm (depending on if we've made it to the eastern time zone or not) and stopping so we can check into a hotel overnight and I can watch LOST. I am not going to miss it. Not even for WDW!! Of course we don't check in at POFQ until Thursday so that's easy for me to say .
