Just a thought.....maybe all the survivors lives have crossed each other in the past and they don't realize it. Somehow they are all connected to each other someway.........Hummm

:thewave:

The writers have confirmed this is true.

This just makes things more interesting I think. But I'm still linking everything together(who's next for flashbacks/backstory? I want to know more about Sayid and Charlie)
Looks like Sawyer is up next, and his flashbacks have something to do with (hilight below to read)
Jack's father.

Wait a second - Did I miss something?

I thought when Sawyer and Boone were both at the Police station they were in France?!? Didn't Shannon say she lived with a guy in the south of France - or was the flashback episode a different guy than they story she tells about knowing French? I do keep waiting for the explanation about them both being at the police station - and I guess it makes more sense that they were in Austrailia - but now I am confused.
The police station was in Sydney. Shannon had called Boone to "rescue" her from an abusive boyfriend.

The guy from the South of France was a completely different guy. That came up because that's where she learned French.

I just got done watching the video from last night. I am disappointed in the episode. I feel like it was all filler. I understand some flashbacks for background on the characters but really, was Charlie's flashback tonight necessary? We know he was a junkie and what junkies are capable of. I don't know but I hope this is not a trend...give us 15 minutes of real time and the remainder of the show flashbacks.
Next week looks good so I hope it doesn't disappoint.

I think Charlie's flashback was pretty good because it showed why he has such a strong desire to take care of Claire - especially after that girl he ended up swindling told him he would never have anyone to take care of and nobody would trust him. He probably thinks that this is his chance to change his life (I'm talking about a tv character like he is real.. I need a life..lol)

I would have shot Ethan too. I think it would have been a mistake to keep him alive. That man had "more than" human (to quote Obi-Wan) strength. He broke every limb in Scott's body and his neck. He had Charlie hanging against a tree holding him by one hand. He was able to sneak into camp and kill Scott. Better he is just out of the equation. ALTHOUGH.. I get the feeling that Ethan is not going to stay dead.

I love this show and I like the way they trick us into thinking something big is going to happen and it ends up to be something totally different - because on the same note, something big hits us out of the blue with no warning and blows us away. I kinda like being at the writers mercy... they are doing a great job keeping the show from becoming a one story wonder.

You said exactly what I've been thinking. I love this show and I love the way it unfolds every week. Some shows depend solely on the shock factor, and I love how LOST has some of the shock factor but so much of the human factor as well. Even when I read the spoilers I'm still on the edge of my seat excited to see what happens.

Hopefully the spoilers are right and next week is another Sawyer episode! Can't get enough of him :lovestruc

Did anyone see Jimmy Kimmel (sp?) last night? He was on the set of LOST and they had pretty funny skits. Those who are still wondering if Sawyer's accent is real, it is!

I could tell Sayid's accent sounded British but had to be sure and Sawyer has a thick accent(is it real?)

OK, you're right. I forgot that Jack dropped his gun and I'm not sure why because I kept hoping Claire would pick it up and shoot Ethan in the leg or something.

I actually thought this was a good episode. I haven't been disappointed in many of them, though.

Did anyone else think it was weird when Jin asked Sun if she thought Claire was going to be ok, then he said what about the baby? The way he and Sun looked at each other and the way Sun answered him just seemed strange. I'm probably reading too much into this, but it sort of stuck with me.

I thought he was testing her to see if she could understand what all was going on. I think he can and he is trying to figure out if she can.

I think Jin was testing her. I think he knows or knows that Sun can speak English. If she knew exactly what was going on it would because she can under stand english.

I liked tonights episode, I knew someone would pick up the dropped gun. I was thinking that Ethan would find it pick it up and aim it then he would get shot by one of the group but not before he got a shot off wounding someone in the group.

Next weeks episode looks kind of boring.

Guess I could have read more before I made my post, but I figured I would forget if I didn't go ahead. Glad others are thinking along the same lines.

Why didn't someone just take Ethan out at the knees? That way he couldn't come after them.

I couldn't believe Charlie killed Ethan! I was like, WHY! Now they'll get no answers. It was almost as if Charlie didn't want them to get answers. hmmm.
Jin & Sun talking about the baby was weird too. Like maybe they were pregnant at one time, or were going to get a baby in LA? I also think that Jin speaks English as well.

Do you think he would have told them anything? I don't think he would have. But then again Charlie is my favorite so my view is a bit tainted. ;)

My take on the rest of Charlie's story was to show that he really has a big heart and wants to do the right thing.

Ethan does give me the creeps and there has to be more to him than meets the eye

Just wanted to share a funny story.

DH and DS went to the first of four fishing clinics they are taking. DH came home and the first thing he said was "You will NEVER be allowed to take DS to class." Ummmm..........what?? Why?? "Because there is a guy there that looks exactly like SAWYER." ROFLOL! He couldn't get over the resemblence. Guess I need to buy a fishing pole!

Have they ever said what year this is suppose to be happening in. Why doesn't anyone have a cell phone? I know that would not make good TV but I just can't get that out of my mind. :confused3
