Where did Ethan come from, I do not remember him. Was he in the plane crash with the rest of the them, or is this a new character?

When Jack was fighting with Ethan, he lost his gun and I never saw him pick it up again. I assumed that Charlie picked up Jack's gun.

OK, you're right. I forgot that Jack dropped his gun and I'm not sure why because I kept hoping Claire would pick it up and shoot Ethan in the leg or something.

I actually thought this was a good episode. I haven't been disappointed in many of them, though.

Did anyone else think it was weird when Jin asked Sun if she thought Claire was going to be ok, then he said what about the baby? The way he and Sun looked at each other and the way Sun answered him just seemed strange. I'm probably reading too much into this, but it sort of stuck with me.

Actually, I am going to have to say no.
I thought "What an idiot!" Then I thought what a perfect way to not have to answer any questions or even give clues.

He's one of the characters that came onto the scene a few episodes in. They showed him just enough so he wasn't a complete stranger to the audience when he kidnapped Claire. I think he hung around with the guy Scott/Steve-LOL that he killed tonight. They discovered he wasn't on the plane as he was kidnapping Claire and Charlie.

From what we've seen Ethan showed up on the beach at the same time the survivors of the plane crash were recovering and getting organized. Everyone assumed he was a survivor of the wreck also, turns out he's not - he was not listed on the plane's manifest. Where he came from? Who he really is? No one really knows and looks like we won't find out for a while.

Well, come on, they haven't given us any answers so far, why would tonight be different. Since I wasn't expecting any answers, heck yeah I was clapping for Charlie.

By the way, I just read that after the next new episode, there are 6 weeks of repeats.

I was a little disappointed tonight, there was a big build up and then I was let down..... I still do love this show though, I just hope it gets a little more exciting like in the beginning

OMG! I am *so* totally hooked on this show. Every episode has me on the edge of my seat. Thankfully I've got the TiVo

I think we've got less to worry about from Charlie than we do from Locke. He's the really odd one. I still can't get over the being paralized before the crash to being fully functional after the crash. And he always has this "I know more than you know" smirk on his face.

Ethan was just freaky. I don't think he'd have actually given them any information and it would have been worse having him around. Not to mention, I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of him. What's his fascination with Claire and her baby? And what *is* the deal with her baby? The whole back story on her is freaky...

My only wish for the show: Stop showing all the reruns!

I think Jin was concerned about the baby because of Claire's reaction in the episode where Jin was giving everyone seafood. Remember she hadn't felt the baby move, she ate what he gave her and the baby started moving. She got very excited, grabbed his hand and placed it on her belly. It was uncomfortable for him but still probably something that awed him. Nothing sinsiter in my mind. I do think that Jin is getting suspicous about his wife maybe knowing what is going on around them....

I think Jin was testing her. I think he knows or knows that Sun can speak English. If she knew exactly what was going on it would because she can under stand english.

I liked tonights episode, I knew someone would pick up the dropped gun. I was thinking that Ethan would find it pick it up and aim it then he would get shot by one of the group but not before he got a shot off wounding someone in the group.

Next weeks episode looks kind of boring.

I was disappointed with tonight's show. I'm starting to get disappointed with the whole show. I just really don't think it's going to come through in the end and be "spectacular" like we all think it's going to be. I'm afraid I'm wasting my time with it.

Has anyone else heard that they keep showing reruns because ABC didn't order many to begin with and now they have to keep filming to catch up? I hate the gaps too!

I personally still love the show. It just gets more and more interesting to me. I hated that Charlie shot Ethan too because I was hoping that they would get some answers even if it didn't make sense as usual!

I think Jin does suspect that Sun speaks English. I also think Jin speaks English. There's a Jin-centric episode coming up and I wouldn't be surprised if we learn he does.

A lot has been speculated about the island's healing properties, especially with Locke and a bit with Claire's baby. Does this mean that Scott/Steve and Ethan will be miraculously (that doesn't look right) healed? Or is it the difference between mostly dead and all dead, like when Miracle Max saved Westley in the Princess Bride? Someone is near death they can be saved, but someone is dead, they're dead?

In the previews for next week -- is anyone else amazed that they let Sawyer keep one of the guns? Of course, he probably kept the one he lifted off the US marshall. I commented to DW Lauri last night that when they gave him one to help find Ethan that maybe it was like Barney Fife and he only had one bullet.

Count me among those who is WAY hooked on this show. I just hope the secret of the island isn't a big letdown.

I couldn't believe Charlie killed Ethan! I was like, WHY! Now they'll get no answers. It was almost as if Charlie didn't want them to get answers. hmmm.
Jin & Sun talking about the baby was weird too. Like maybe they were pregnant at one time, or were going to get a baby in LA? I also think that Jin speaks English as well.
