I hope you get a brain freeze from that margarita.

Just kidding.

It was on the rocks so no...although I always get one when drinking a frozen one :cold:

There are ads for the companion book The Lost Chronicles, ad for Lost: the official magazine, and a coupon code for Lost merchandise

No, YUMMMMMM! Double marg on the rocks, extra salt ::yes::
Hmmmm, that with some chips and guack sound like the perfect way to watch the first episode of the season.

OK, LOST LOVERS.....what will you be having on Sept 21?

Can someone who bought the set let me know where the bonus features are? Are they scattered throughout the set or are they on the last disc????

Well who knows what I'll be craving then, but right now I'm thinking a good old fashion pizza and pop party in front of the tv sounds like fun. No alcohol for me for a while yet. We'll probably bake some chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

A little OT, but is anyone planning to watch Invasion after Lost this season?

I might, does it look good? I thought Lost came on at 9 though, so here we would not have anything after it but the news. Am I smoking crack? Can't wait to get back to obsessively analyzing every gesture--I've missed it!!!

According to TV Guide it (Invasion) will be coming on at 10pm Eastern, following Lost.

Here's what TV Guide said about Invasion:

Can anything this season top Lost, last year's instantly addictive breakout hit? The networks are sure going to try. Lost's success has opened the door to a tantalizing renewal of interest in the spooky territory of sci-fi and horror, with a half dozen new shows dabbling in the unearthly or otherworldly. The most unnerving and haunting, at least from what we've seen so far, is Invasion. It has the good fortune of following Lost on Wednesdays and, like that island-bound show, transcends the usual genre limitations by grounding its eerie mysteries in strong, appealing characters and a vivid sense of place (the primordial swamp of the Florida Everglades). It opens with a terrifying hurricane during which lives, and possibly the world as we know it, are changed forever. Will Invasion take America by storm? We hope so.

I thought I'd go ahead and post info about the other two shows that are "similar" to Lost in case anyone is interested.

Invasion

What to fear: Odd lights fall from the sky into a Florida swamp. Townspeople start acting strange.

First Manifestations
After a devastating storm a sense of dread permeates the Everglades town of Homestead.

Who Fights Back:
A hunky marine biologist/park ranger (Eddie Cibrian)

Telling Lines:
"Mommy you smell different."

It Reminds Us Of:
"Body Snatchers" invades the Everglades.

Surface

What to Fear:
Do those weird lights splashing into the ocean have anything to do with sea monsters?

First Manifestations:
Something's fishy about a mysteriously empty nuclear submarine and a shattered aquarium.

Who Fights Back:
A gorgeous marine biologist (Lake Bell)

Telling Lines:
"This morning you saw a sea monster?"

It Reminds Us Of:
"Jaws" meets "E.T."

Threshold:
What to Fear:
A triple helix-based life form is maiming, killing, and driving humans criminally insane.

First Manifestations:
Only one man has survived a brutal slaughter on a cargo ship. And he's behaving very, very badly.

Who Fights Back:
A luscious contigency analyst (Carla Gugino)

Telling Lines:
"It can't be good for the human race."

It Reminds Us Of:
"Alien" meets "Night of the Living Dead."

Went to Best Buy and got my copy with the bonus disc which we watched some of tonight. Not a whole lot of stuff on there, it has LOST: The Journey (which aired on tv, I don't remember when...) and the trailers for the first two seasons. It also has a brief flashbacks segment, and two on location segments, which we haven't watched yet. Total time of the disc is aprox 56 minutes. Can't wait to watch them all over again, I have seen every episode but my husband hasn't (he's seen episodes here and there that give things away)- I can't tell him enough how much more exciting it is to see it in the right order, it sure keeps you on your toes!

I think I will have a seafood dinner right before the show. Maybe a nice margarita, frozen with salt, to drink while watching. Can't eat during the show, afraid I will miss something. :rotfl:

I have to remember to record it to so that I can go back and watch it in slow-mo. Have to carefully watch the background just in case we missed something.

Just saw an ad for the next season of Lost.
Just had Jack walking on the beach with you hearing his thoughts.

I saw one with Sawyer as well. I think they are trying to drive us nuts between now and then. :rotfl:

I saw one tonight that looked like scenes from the first show of the new season. Looked like Shannon pointing out a sign on the hatch that said "QUARINTINE"

Ok, so mine showed Kate in the "tube" and the lights going on all of a sudden.....
That's all I recall...

It shows Kate inside the hatch saying that there is something down here, then you hear her scream and then they show a bright light coming out of there.
