Sawyer must have been shot to get knocked off the raft, but I couldn't tell where he was shot, it was so fast, I really really hope the three guys can live, hopefully to get to land soon.

To me it looked like Sawyer got shot in the shoulder area...or at least that's what I hope!! He's too cute to die!

Didd anyone notice the captain of the boat (that took walt) is dressed for winter and it looks like snow is swirling aroun him when they close up on him saying he is going to take the boy?

I wish Sawyer could have been shown putting up more of a fight than one shot and then he gets shot... that made me sad.... not that it would have changed the outcome I just think it got rushed. maybe they wanted you to be unsure of who mae it off the boat? (ie just sawyer or both sawyer and Jin)

Okay I have been playing around with the seatingchart website and on the internet and I found this - a link to a picture of the map you get when clicking on Shannon's seat on the http://www.oceanic-air.com/seatingchart.htm website. http://img228.echo.cx/img228/7808/map5hx.jpg I like this because you can see the map as a whole without other stuff on the original website getting in the way. Does anyone read french? I would be curious to see if anyone can translate what Danielle wrote on this map. It seems like the word 'Claire' is written several times. Then there is a small drawing of a boat that looks a lot like the boat the pirates or fisherman or whatever you want to call them were on.

Ok - I know it has been mentioned several times that when clicking on Jack's seat, the screen flickers and the words in the bottom left hand corner change from "Oceanic 815" to "Oceanicflight815.com" to "Oceanic 777". I just want to say that I think this has more significance then just the airplane was a Boeing 777. I don't know what the significance is - it just seems the website is making a bigger deal out it. Like why does it matter that the plane was a Boeing 777?? Why are they bothering to make the website do this??This may seem weird but I keep thinking of good luck and Vegas slot machine when I see it. You know how if you hit "777" that you are a big winner. Like maybe Jack usually has good luck, while Hurley has bad? I don't know. Just something about that 777, keeps bugging me. All the other stuff we see, seems to have a logical explanation, but that "777" doesn't.

Also, why doesn't this website highlight seats for everyone else? Seems like some pretty important people are missing. I can only find highlighted seats for Shannon, Boone, Jake, Rose, Locke, Charlie, the Marshall and Kate. Where is everyone else? Where is Sawyer, Claire, Hurley, Michael, Walt, Jin and Sun?

Anyway, feel like I am going through "Lost" withdrawal, which is maybe why I am dinking around on the internet too much today. Oh well.

I agree. I think she does look as old as Danielle. If she's suppose to be Alex, she needs to get out of the sun and get some sunscreen

I was thinking about when Danielle was speaking to Sayid about her transmission going on for 16 years and she said, "has it been that long?" Now, I've always thought she was referring to how long she's been there, but maybe the 16 year reference is to the actual transmission. I guess it's possible she was there for years before she made that transmission. I never thought of that before

I came to ask the same thing. It looked like snow to me in that last scene. I watched the finale today and I've just finished reading through all the posts from this past week (I just got back from Disneyland this morning) but that was about the only thing I had to add.

I read something that said that no one knows how long Danielle had been on the island. I thought Alex had been taken away 16 years ago. Do we know if Alex was actually a baby when she was taken, could she have been a child?

ibouncetoo- I thought the same thing about Hurley making it on the plane. Someone did say that we would find out the reason the plane went down.

Yeah, the shape of the face looks the same, but it's still too dark to tell. Do you have a reason for thinking it's the guy in the picture? Does ABC list the names of all the actors, even in bit parts?

Yeah I do, but I don't want to say too much until more people look at it because I don't want to sway anyone one way or another. What makes me think it's the same person is the smile. Look at the smile from the first picture (of the Others) and compare it to the smile on the second picture, far right. Looks like the same smile to me. This may actually end up being a spoiler if it's the same guy. I may need to post this to the other thread.

Maybe the others live in a different dimension where time passes more rapidly. This could explain two things: 1) why they are never seen but sometimes heard on the island and 2) why the blonde looks so much older than 16.

We were never told that Alex was taken 16 years ago. The 16 merely comes from the message being repeated for 16 years. No one said that message was started the minute they got on the island. As for Alex, all that was said was that the baby was taken a few weeks after it was born, but I don't think it was said exactly when the baby was born, so Alex could be older than 16.

Zurgswife...that DOES sorta look like the same woman. Hmmm... I also wondered if it was signifcant that the shirt she was wearing was a "Poison" shirt.

A LOT of what is on the map (thankyou for the image!) is from the french song 'La Mer' (the one Shannon sang)

La mer - the sea
Des reflects d'argent - to sparkles of silver
Des reflects changeants - of changing sparkles
Au bord de la mer - ocean front (I don't know what 'TANG' is)
Versant expose - exposed mountainside
Le cratere - crater (bowl sized opening)
Moustique- mosquito
Coralliens-coral
Epave-wreckage

I LOVE this show...can't wait till next season...
