I rented points for my in-laws for Dec 10-15th but they have lost the confirmation letter with the reservation number on it. I am trying to get ahold of the person I rented from to get a new one. Can I have them call member services directly and request a new one?

The in-laws or you are not allowed to contact MS. The person you rented from needs to do that.

Yes, the member you rented from can request another confirmation letter; however, you don't really need that letter. They don't ask for it at check-in, only your name. If you just wanted to have the confirmation number, the member could easily get and provide that number, or perhaps they kept a copy of the confirmation for records. (Personally, when I rent ressies I scan the confirmations and send that file to the renter via e-mail, so I always have the original confirmation in-hand).

Thanks for your response! That is such a relief. However, do I need the confirmation number for making ME reservations? Or can I just give the name to member services?

The person you rented from needs to contact Member Services for ME arrangements. WHile renters used to be able to make those arrangements, that policy changed August 1st, everything to do with Members Services must be handled by the owner.

Another thought, if your in-laws want the Dining Plan, the member MUST request that before they arrive. So if you contact the Owner let them know if you need the dining plan too.
