Lost and Found?

I lost my best pair of Brighton sunglasses on the Tom Sawyer Island last week. I was so bummed. I did check via phone with the lost and found guy at the TTC, but he said they didn't have them. Any ideas on where else to check?

The lost and found number you called is probably your best bet. Just keep calling back, at least every other day or so. I lost the picture insert thing in my wallet and called every day for two weeks because I knew where I had lost them and was hoping that they would be found. After a while I stopped calling and then my uncle actually got a package in the mail with the pictures in it (there was a business card of his tucked in the very last slot, hidden away from sight). I called lost and found the day we got them back and asked to speak to a manager, just to tell them how happy I was they went out of their way to find something to identify the lost object. When he got on the phone he told me they had actually had the pictures for a couple of weeks, but had not been able to get it processed for being reclaimed- something about having to put a description in a computer for the CM's to use when they get calls and such. If that was true or not, I'm not sure, but nonetheless, it took weeks for me to get back something that had an address. It's possible that your glasses are "found" and that if you call every few days, you could get them back.

Have you tried City Hall at MK?

For our honeymoon back in 2000, DH lost his wedding ring (first day of our honeymoon!) on Splash Mountain! We knew exactly where it came off and the Spash CM's had us report it to City Hall. City Hall said they would call us if it was found and if we didn't receive a call to call central lost and found, which I'm sure is where you called first. Central never called us. We called Central and they didn't have it so DH called City Hall the next day and they had it. good luck!
