Lost 5 pounds in 3 days

This is driving me crazy. After a two week stall, I have lost 5lbs in 3 days.

I want to lose a nice, steady, predictable 2-3lbs a week, but my body is not cooperating, lol!

Does anyone else seem to lose weight in 'chunks' like that?
 
I do. However no matter how it comes off, just be happy it off

I know I know its frustrating big time which is why you cant give it up when the weight doesnt com off.................
But justlike sm said who cares when and how much as long as it does!

In the world of atkins I am a turtle compared to most who do this way of eating. That said I am still 11lbs lighter then when I started. And when DH weight is literally MELTING off him daily I just remember to ask myself the following ?s and I usually feel better.

How long did it take me to gain all this extra wgt? YEARS!
Do I feel better have more energy now ? YES
Is my overall health improving? YES
Am I losing inches if not pounds? YES
Do my clothes feel better on me (esp. undergarments)? YES
Is my general attitude on a daily basis better? YES (as DH will be happy to tell you)

So each week if I only lose 1lb or 2lbs or NO lbs I just try to stay focused on my true goal - BEING HEALTHIER - in which wgt lose is just a happy side effect of!

I love it when the WOOSH fairy pays a call. Now, step away from that scale and stop weighing yourself so often. ;)
 
Congratulations! You are doing it! You just keep at it; don't give up if it stalls. You might get that tape measure and check, but as Katholyn said, don't over do. Pick a day each week at most to weigh in and maybe a day a month to measure. Try to exercise and drink your water. You are becoming a more healthy you.
