I've just started the 2nd week of induction and my appetite has just gone. I just can't face eating even though I know in the book it says I shouldn't go more than 6 hours without food. I make myself a meal, eat about a quarter of it and thats it! I now have a fridge full of leftovers.
I am averaging about 15-17 carbs a day and walking 4-5 miles a day so I should be really hungry - shouldn't I? Or is this what listening to my body means??

Welcome to the wonderful world of ketosis! :)

You're supposed to have a decreased appetite... nothing abnormal about it. It will lessen as you go on (the decrease, that is), and you'll find yourself eating more, and even hungry sometimes.

Just be sure you're eating something... even if it's only a hard boiled egg, a few celery sticks, or a hamburger now and then. You've got to be sure you're getting some protein, and your veggies... other than that, you certainly don't have to eat large amounts or set meals or stuff yourself.

You're right on track - enjoy it!

Isn't it great, Elise? I have trouble and have to force myself to eat, too.

Don't forget, always eat some kind of fat with your protein. ALWAYS.

Try to eat something small like a beef stick or piece of celery with cream cheese throughout the day.

You are doing so good! A month ago would you have ever thought that you would be worried about NOT being hungry!;)

I say go with it.. I have gone weeks not eating a thing until dinner time and that's when I lost the most weight...
