losing thing overboard....

I'm bumping this one up... just because...

I'm still interested in people's stories... popcorn:: popcorn::

Hmm, I wonder what the CM's do with my DW, if I leave her sitting on the night stand?:confused3

Perhaps I will find her peaking out from under the covers? :lmao:

Well, if she likes to dress in terry cloth...I'm sure she'd make a very nice towel animal.... make sure you pack the champagne... :goodvibes

I was videotaping us docking at CC and the battery must not have been securely fastened to the camera......... :confused3

It made quite a noise when it hit the concrete. Those dock guys all went for cover:rolleyes1

I've never personally ever dropped anything overboard...
But some family went on a cruise with some friends, and one of them had recently bought a new video camera. Set it on the railing.
Plop.
Into the ocean.

I wouldn't take anything that you would mind losing. I would bring another stuffed animal, or bring one that isn't dear. While we don't like to think about anything bad happening, the reality is that it can. If it comes to manning lifeboats, you may not have time to go to your cabin to get Tigger. Remember that cruise ship that sank recently -- all of the passengers' possessions went down with it. Leave cherished items home where they are safer, and only bring jewelry that you wear most of the time.

Um it seems every cruise Ive gone on , the night where the teens are on the sports deck some how the frisbee or volley ball gets blown off the ship and into the ocean!

Your Tigger should be fine unless you play titanic with him ;]

ouch........I would be inclined to go in after it.....:lmao:

We've lost a basketball and a few ping pong balls too! Although on 3/17/07 Magic cruise, I noticed that DCL had put up additional netting on Sports Deck to minimize lost balls.

My mom was talking yesterday that I should go and get the little "Swimmie" arm band thingies and pack them for Tigger!!! She said get Orange so we could take him to the Muster Drill!!! I wouldn't have Tigger anywhere near the verandah unless in port, she thinks at least the swimmies will help in finding him if he has too many Bahama Mammas!!!

Has anyone every lost anything overboard???? (I hope nothing important...)

I'll be traveling with my beloved Tigger (I never go to WDW without him!!!)

and I'm deathly afraid that I will lose him overboard (I know there are other Tiggers, but this one's been with me for 20 years!!!)

Hey there! After reading about your worries, I spoke with some of MY Tiggers, who are veterans of five Disney Cruises so far and they assured me that there was virtually no way for your little orange and black friend to bounce overboard unless someone carelessly held him over the rail.

According to my Tiggers, Tiggers like being in luggage the best, or carried in a carry on bag. They do request that if they are carried in your arms that you make sure to keep a tight grip on them, as they like to bounce and could get away from you.

My Tiggers also instructed me to tell you that your little Tigger needs to report for duty at 2200 on the first day for training since he will now be an official member of the Tigger Navy. :)

I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I travel with about 6-8 Tiggers every time I go somewhere. I was happy when my Daughter was born because now I am sure that people assume that they belong to her. Hehehehe. :)
