Thanks for the link. That was the most informative site about DQ that I have seen.

We (Mom, Dad, DD11, DS9, DS7) went a year ago on our "out-of-park" day. We were in line when it opened at 11:00 AM. We planned on staying about four hours. We ended up taking a break after five hours to walk around the DTD shops and then going back for another couple hours in the early evening. I am not a big video game person, but really enjoyed CyberSpaceMountain and several of the other attractions. I learned that I don't do well with VR, but there was plenty to do. The kids really didn't want to leave.
My tips:
1. Get there early - it is crowded in the evenings, with more teens and young adults and fewer families.
2. If your child is on the borderline for the height restrictions, have them "measure tall" first thing and then do not remove the wristband. My DS7 desperately wanted the wristband off, but since he measured just barely tall enough for CyberSpaceMountain, we didn't want to chance him not measuring up later in the day.
3. As with all of WDW, experience the most popular attractions first to avoid lines.
4. If your kids are really young (5 and under), skip it. IMO, unless you have UPH passes, you will not feel that it is worth the separate price of admission unless your kids are old enough for it. My DS7 was on the younger end of the age spectrum. He loved it, but if he was too short to ride, he would not have loved it so much.
5. We bought combo passes which included $10 certificates for Planet Hollywood for a little more than the regular list price of the DQ passes themselves. There are deals to be found.
