Lord Almighty Pink can sing!

Any of you NE Ohioans at the House of Blues last night -- wow, Pink blew me away! I mean, I was never a huge fan, and I can't even remember why we decided to buy tickets -- but OMG the voice on that girl! She's very talented -- I thought 18 Wheeler and Trouble were particularly good.

I am also not a huge Pink fan but I have heard her on a few shows here and there where she sang some of her stuff without music or anything and she has a really good voice. It's a shame she is not more noticed but I think that's part of deal with her--she isn't conforming 100% with the whole pop thing like everyone expects of her.

I have loved PINK since she hit the streets. I am happy to see she is doing well.
Hopefully I can see her sing 'live' one day.

She was hilarious too -- it was a great show. And I wasn't even the oldest person there, which always makes me happy. When we go to Yellowcard in a couple of weeks I'll be old enough to be everone's Grandma (almost ).

I am so incredibly jealous of you! Not because you got to see Pink (I hate Pink), but because you got to see my other boyfriend, Matt Nathanson! It's the first time he's been to Cleveland and I haven't been able to see him! I never expected a Pink show to sell out!

I also like that she remains true to herself & hasn't allowed them to transform her into something she's not just to match people like Brittney & Jessica just to sell more records.

Matt was really funny! I think he missed his calling -- but I really don't like his music! I know I'm alone here, but I'm just not a fan of Matthews and his spawn!

I like Dave Matthews music, but I'm not a "fan" per se. I wouldn't go see him in concert. I can see where the casual listener could group Matt as a Dave "spawn", but there's really is a difference. Of course, you saw Matt acoustic, which he rarely does anymore. Now he usually travels with a full band which really energizes his whole sound.

But I guess we'll agree that our music tastes differ because I can't stand Pink!
