I booked a full hook up site for Dec 2010. I thought that full hook up sites were upgraded to preffered sites. What loops are full hook up sites? I'm just happy to get a site
Some were up graded to preffered,,,but they still have full, preffered, and primo.
Glad you got your Dec ressie, cept for the a few more people, thats the best time to see Disney,
Fulls are 1600-1900; preferreds are 100-300. Have you ever been to the Fort before? If not, you're gonna love it. If so, then you already know you're gonna love it!

All sites except 1500 & 2000 have water, electric, sewer and cable. 1500 & 2000 do not have sewer.
100-200-300 are preferred, closest to the marina and settlement
The premium sites have larger concrete pads, no conquina (sand/shell) area 400 & 500 are almost right across from 300, somewhat close to the marina.
1600-1900 (full hook-up as they are called) are similar to the prefered in size except they are closer to the main entrance, thus farther from the marina and settlement.

When the upgrades were first announced, 1600-1900 were going to be classified preferred. However, there was a HUGE stink from the guests about those loops costing more and them being in a out of the way location, so they were left classified as Full Hookup.
Also, the 1600 to 1900 are pet loops. If you don't like dogs, you might not want to stay there. We stay there every year with our dogs and love it. We have never encountered an unfriendly dog or a dog owner that does not clean up after their dog. These loops are definitely farther from the marina, but they are also quiet.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the info. We have stayed at the Fort always in the 300 loop. I would have booked a preferred site if one were available . We also travel with a dog who loves the dog park. I will continue to check for more days and maybe a preferred site. At least I will be at the Fort for Christmas.
