Lookout Cay 5k?

Has anyone read about a 5k being offered at the new Lookout Cay?

Oh I hadn't thought about that. Every time I say I'm retired they come out with a new medal that I just have to go for.

Nothing that I've heard. I'm guessing that might be something that gets announced closer to when it opens, since it's pretty low-hanging fruit in terms of setting it up (especially since it's 'do it yourself/on your honor' now at Castaway Cay).

As of last week they still did not have anything. We keep hoping there will be one.

@CamColt I know from another thread that you are going to be on Lookout Cay soon and saw you posted last year on this thread. Can you let us know if you have a chance anything that you find out about this? Thank you!

I'll be there in a couple of weeks and will see what I can find out. I'm ready for some beach time!

We were there last week.

The trail has some signs but not enough or big enough. People were all on the trail saying which way ? Twice we ended up at dead ends and at the beach . Then at the end of one your back out at the road and have to walk a bit back to where everything is build up that leads to where the trams are.

One does lead to the lighthouse that you can circle and go back the way you came or go straight to the exit at the road. This one you can get a view of the ship thru the trees. Most of this is dirt paths.

Sorry there was no race. You’re just now allowed to walk the trail. We were there in Oct and you couldn’t even do that. I didn’t even see the sign someone posted. Like I said signage was really bad. They don’t even have the bikes up and running yet on Lookout Cay

We were just at Lookout Cay last week. No 5K yet- but they had a bunch of different Lookout Cay 5K merch in the shop on the island so I would definitely say that it is coming soon.
