It depends on how much you want for it. People don't like to pay a lot at yard sales and by listing on Ebay you can sell to the world. The Halloween listings are just starting to pop up on Ebay and within the next 2 weeks it'll be better for costumes. You can always put the $$ amount on it that you want for it at your yard sale and if you don't get it then list it on Ebay. Buyers on Ebay are back to school shopping right now and by the end of July the buyers will be looking for the Halloween stuff. Either way Goodluck and hopefully you'll get out of it what you want.
I would just sell it at the yard sale...I don't deal with ebay.
When I want to get rid of my stuff, I'm not out for profit.....just want to get the stuff out of my house!! I hate clutter! I have an anuual yard sale over at my mother's every spring & between the 2 of us, we made over $900.00 this past April.
If you don't want to hassle with ebay, try craigslist instead. Its free. You might be able to make more than you would at a yard sale. Around here, people don't want to pay you anything. "Will you take a quarter for this?" Nope. It cost me more than a quarter just to bring it out here.
