Sorry if this has been asked before. We're going to WDW in Feb.2004. We're staying on site. Last year we used Fl Tours to get to the resort and they were great. But this year we want to go to other parks too. We don't need a rental car for the whole time. What are our options for leaving WDW property for a couple of days?

We used Orlando's Lynx system to get to SeaWorld. The bus has a stop at the TTC, right behind the stop for Fort Wilderness. You have to have exact change, $1.25, per person, each way. It stops right at the parking lot for SeaWorld. For the return trip the stop is right across the street. Be sure to tell the driver you want to get off at the SeaWorld main entrance parking lot. It took about 20 minutes. We didn't try the bus to Universal. It looked pretty complicated. You could try a Mears bus or one of the town car services tho. The town cars charge about $40-50 r/t to SeaWorld.

We stayed at CBR in August.
Used mears taxis from the customs house.....
trips to sea world/discovery cove were $16 each way plus tip
and to US was $21 had to use Diamond cabs for the return trip cost about the same.
As there were 4 of us it worked out cheaper than using the shuttle and there were always cabs there.

We did try the bus system .....but ended up taking us an hour to get as far as Seaworld, that day we were aiming for shopping in Intl Drive....so after that we decided to just use the taxis for the odd times we needed it.
