Looking for video and/or pictures for the DIS Meets 2004 video

The year is half over and I know there's been a lot of DIS meets going on. For those who have video and/or pictures from a meet, why not send them to me for inclusion into the DIS Meets 2004 video? Much like the DIS Meets 2003 video, this year's video will profile all the fun DIS meets that have happened over the year. If you have any video and/or pictures to share, please PM or e-mail me. Please please please do not e-mail me any photos without contacting me first. E-mailing pictures will blow up my dialup connection!

For those who went to Towncrier's Memorial Day picnic, you saw the video.

I'm hesitant to do one this year because it was extremely difficult to obtain video and pictures from people. Most of the video ended up being my own. The pictures I had to pull from the boards. I don't want to cancel to video due to lack of footage, so get your video and pictures in! I prefer video, but pictures are OK too.

Barry - KathyTX and I were wondering if you are able to get pictures from off the DIS? There are some of her pictures (with names) from the recent DFW meet at the Rainforest Cafe here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=551792&perpage=15&pagenumber=6

Is that possible or do you need them sent directly to you?

BTW - Sadly, I don't remember anyone having a video camera at the DFW meet. But if we have another DFW meet this year (which is very likely to happen later in the summer) I will borrow my mom's video camera, take some videos, and get them to you.

I would like them on a CD or disk, but if I have to get them off the boards, I will have to do so. I was hoping I could get higher res photos on a CD so the video quality would be much better.

I'm debating on whether or not to do any more DIS Meets video after 2004. I hope I can get a lot of raw video footage for it. It's hard to be creative with stills since you can only do so much.

There are a bunch (about 50 or so) in a link in my signature from the New Jersey DIS meet that was held on June 5th. We all had a great time. There is also a thread dedicated to it on the meets board.
