Does anyone know where I can find a fanny pack small enough for a toddler? I am looking for one for a boy, so something in blue, black etc would be great. I am mostly concerned about finding one that has a small enough strap to fit around a very small waist. He is only 26 pounds. His big sister has a Disney princess fanny pack, and I know he is going to want one too. I bought a Disney patch and plan to sew it on the front so it doesnt really matter what style it is. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks,

I don't know if they are even around anymore but there used to be a toy series called cool tools. They had a green and yellow 'tool pouch.' That worked great. Now that I think about it, it seems to me that Lowe's has a kids tool pouch. I haven't looked at it because my boys are older but you might try that.

We went to Disney in July of 2003. We bought each of our kids (then 6, 4 and 3) a fanny pack with Eeyore, Tigger and Pooh on them. I think they had Minnie and Mickey too. They fit them pretty well. Our 3yo was maybe 30lbs then. It also fit their autograph books and pens in it. You may just want to wait until you get to Disney to find one.

megandgarr - I'm in the same place you are on this. My DD is not yet 3 but I want her to have a place to hold some snacks, "lipstick", etc. while we're at WDW. I haven't had any luck either finding a waist pouch in her size. The ones I've seen online are mostly plastic and I think that would be very uncomfortable on a hot and humid day.

I remember a similar thread about kid-sized fanny packs and someone did find some from Coleman, I think, that are designed for kids. They also had a place for a water bottle. Other people said they bought regular sizeds ones and just cut down the belt to fit the smaller waists. I'm still trying to find something a bit more "fun" than either of those so will probably wait until we get to WDW and hope we find one there. If not, we do have a "Kim Possible" one that we bought last year... I'm just not real crazy about it because it slips around on the belt and also only has a simple velcro closure so isn't as secure as I'd like for going on rides.

If you do, check there. Ours had see through neon plastic fanny packs that were the perfect size for my tiny-waisted 4 year old. $1 each, can't beat that!

I bought some through ebags.com early this year for my 4 and 6 year olds - they are blue 2 tone and look like a smilely face (they are called smiley bag I think). They are good quality, not plastic like I've seen with some kid bags.

I bought these for my kids too, they are the only ones I've ever been able to find that fit their waist...

I have the coleman kids pack, I bought it for myself several years back, because it was the only one at the time with a bottle holder for my kids juice cups. It is too big for me, why they call it a kids pack is beyond me. It's a nice bag, but it's huge in the waist.

when we were planning our trip my then 2.5 year DD "NEEDED" a fanny pack! I found a basic canvas kids pack at the local craft store - Ben Franklin, AC Moore, JoAnn Fabric - and then we purchased iron on's to decorate it! We even found beaded fringe to glue on with the hot gun! She is 4.5 now and still takes it whenever we travel. I'm sure it will make another trip - her third- to MK this December! Have fun.

PS
If you don't want just basic canvas color, purchase the spray on fabric paint! We painted our PURPLE!

Thank you all for the information on a toddler sized fanny pack, however I actually found a website that I ordered them from. They are made for children and are personalized with their name and a small design (of your choice). They appear to be very cute, so we will see how they turn out when they get here. Thanks again..

Can you share the website? I think my dd would like one. Not for this trip coming up (8 days!) But for our next. She is only 2.5, so plenty of time to use a kids one over the years. Thanks!

For my DD5, at Kohls, I found a little backpack. It is pink & says VIP (Very Important Princess) on it. She is thrilled. It is small, but big enough to hold her autograph book, disposable princess camera, sunglasses, and has a little zipper section for her Disney Dollars. It's also small enough that I can throw it over the stroller handle or in the back pouch if she's tired of carrying it.

As for DS2, he will also have an autograph book, but I'm guessing I'll be carrying that for him!

I apologize.....it was Target!!! In the young girls section (size 4 to ?) There is a little rack of purses & small backpacks. (not the school section)

Sure Roserae and for anyone else that might like it. The link is below. I ordered on 9/7 and I just received a confirmation that the order is on its way. That was fast. (I also did pay for priority so I am sure that had something to do with it. Enjoy:
