the ones that you pick up in the parks, those aren't available online? It can be an old one, I can't imagine things change that much on a week by week basis

yes thanks I've found those sites as well, but I remember seeing a map with far more detail, all the restuants, bathrooms, first aid stations, etc, everything, color coded, are those maps around anymore?

simply boggles the mind. you'd think that would be the first thing they would put up on the website. anybody out there with a scanner? 5mb digital camera (if the thing folds out big, I can't remember how it worked.)

I had been expecting Disney to send us this type of item, via "snail mail," especially after our package was paid-in-full. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

These are indeed printed weekly, with lots of week-specific detailed information, in addition to the more general information you're looking for. They are available when you check into your Disney resort, or when you arrive at the park.

so is there any way to get a copy of this online? the park layout portions of these guides are the best out there. I cannont understand why I can't find a copy online.

I hope I can find my copies from my 2001 trip and compare them to see whats new...

Try looking again on the second web site that oogieboogie suggests
above - it is the one that starts wdisney and has map in the address (I am new to the boards and DIS won't allow me to put in a URL before a minimum # of posts). I checked and the AK and MK maps both show restrooms, restaurants and shops. They come through pretty clear and are easy to read.

I see now, yes I believe those are the maps I'm looking for, but they are not complete, full also include (on the backside, additional pages?) the full listing for each area, description of the menus, fast pass info. If you look at the MK map you get a hint of what I'm talking about for tomorrowland (see the little "new" sticker?) . Plus there is no date on this map, how old are these?

Still better than nothing. Thanks for pointing out my oversight.

I wrote a letter to WDW explaining what I want, hopefully I'll get a resonse. If I get them, I'll scan and post.
