Hi all
We are planning our first trip as an extended family ( 4 adults, 2 kiddos 7 and 2) and will be in Disney for the 4th of July. Does anyone have suggestions of where to eat on the 4th? We have the deluxe dining plan and have adr @ Chef Mickey, Princess Breakfast in Norway, Play n dine and Crystal Place so far. Any and all suggestions will be helpful as it has been 16 years since my last visit!

We were in WDW on July 4th in 2004 and 2005. Both years we had dinner at Liberty Tree and then camped out for the fireworks & parade. The colonial decor was really a nice touch for the 4th. And the Magic Kingdom fireworks can't be beat! :cool1:

It is a character meal served family style. Think Thankgiving with all the trimmings ... turkey, pork, flank steak, mashed potatos, dressing, green beans and Mac&cheese for the kids (and us kids at heart!) :goodvibes

O'hana might be nice. You could request a window seat or go out to the beach after dinner to watch the fireworks. I know it gets kind of crowded at the beach area, but it might be fun.

Welcome to the DIS

I agree LTT would be the best if going to MK for the day . CP is also very nice

We still are not sure if we will be at MK or Epcot on the 4ht leaning towards Epcot right now as we will be at BWV and might do the 3rd at MK.

For the past 3 years they have done the fireworks on both the 3rd and the 4th. We are planning on seeing them on the 3rd at MK and then doing Epcot on the 4th as we are staying at the Epcot resort area.

For eating if you want to stay in the MK your choices are limited- LTT or Cinderella's RT. You could just take the monorail over to the poly and eat at Kona or Ohana(we used to love Kona but they took my favorite item off the menu so we are skipping it)
Have fun and look for us! I'll be the mom with that dazed look on her face crying at the parades.

thanks....I was thinking that LLT in MK would be a good place....didn't think of Poly...will pose to others. Maybe Epcot! Oh all the choices! :yay:

LTT is fun on the 4th. We prefer lunch, but if you got at dinner, the characters dress in colonial garb and it's pretty festive.

That was the first thing I thought of -- Liberty Tree with the characters in their colonial garb would be so fun on the 4th!!

We've gone several times for the 4th of July. On the 3rd of July we usually eat at LTT and watch the MK 4th of July fireworks. On the 4th we ate at Yacht Club Galley and then went over to watch the EPCOT 4th of July fireworks.
