Looking for Summer Tickets

Hello, I have some gift cards I would like to use (before I lose them) for tickets in August. The website only has them on sale until May. Is it possible to purchase, select a date in May, and then change the reservation to a later date when those open? Any downside in doing this?

I've had to cancel and change my dates a few times and I never had a problem doing that, so I assume it's ok. You could always call and ask just to be sure.

Yes, you can purchase direct from Disney and then cancel the reservations until the dates you want open up. Except for single day tickets, there is not a tier system for multi day tickets so they are not tied to specific days. Single day tickets can get complicated as you would need to know what tier the actual day you want would be.
