My DH & I have just booked 3 nights at Boardwalk Villas :cool1: (Yea! Disney for Halloween!!). This the 1st time we have stayed there (our home resort), any suggestions on what to do, see or where to eat at Boardwalk?
We've been to WDW many times but have never spent time at The Boardwalk. So we thought we'd ask people who've been there.

BWV is our home resorts, maybe I can help with suggestions :)

There are a few restaurants so you have some choices. One of the very nice things about BWV! There's ESPN - it's a sports bar/restaurant. The food is good, we eat there a couple of times during our stay and I've never had anything I didn't enjoy - burgers, salads, sandwiches is the general fare.
There's Spoodles - Mediterrean fare, I believe they serve breakfast and dinner, sit down and very nice atmosphere, good food, and good service (my experiences anyway). They have a pizza window that is open in the evenings. There's Flying Fish Cafe, lots of seafood, we haven't had the pleasure of dining here - yet. There's also the Big River Grille and Brewing Works - a working beer brewery, interesting beers IMHO. We have enjoyed the food here as well. Moderately priced, good salads, good ribs, good meatloaf, etc. They have outdoor seating so you can enjoy the strolling Boardwalk entertainment, the weather or just people watching while you dine. You are in very close proximity to Swan and Dolpin and Yacht & Beach Club Resort, each offering their own restaurants. Cape May Cafe is very good at Yacht/Beach Club, breakfast and dinner - all you care to eat. There's also Beaches and Cream, which is a burger/ice cream place at the Beach Club - some on this board say it's the best burger in WDW.

The Boardwalk also has an ice cream/sweet shop, & a bakery (yum)! Have a great time on your vacation and enjoy your meals!

Read this VERY carefully... When staying at the Boardwalk, hop on the boat in the evening, and take a short cruise over to the Yacht and Beach Club. Go to Beaches and Cream for dessert. I suggest the "No Way Jose" sundae for a taste of heaven that you will never forget!

It's well worth saving your daily calories for this treat. You won't regret it. :earseek:

My only suggestion is if you go to Beaches and Cream, walk there. It will help lose some of those calories you add to your system there.

Stop and pick up your breakfast for the next morning at the Boardwalk Bakery on your way home from EPCOT at night. They have some excellent items.

Definately the Cape May Cafe. They have an awesome buffet at night. The Yachtman Steak House is another good choice but kinda pricey. Don't forget, all the restaruants at Epcot are just s short walk away. Enjoy.

Thanks for the suggestions! We really apprecate them. Sounds like there are plenty of places to go in the area. Thanks again!

ESPN for chicken wings
The Yachtsmen Steakhouse (in the Yacht Club hotel) for steak
Flying Fish for some nice seafood
Beaches & Cream (in the Beach Club hotel) for ice cream

Spoodles-eh, it's OK
Big River Grille-eh, it's OK, although fun to sit outside on the boardwalk
Seashore Sweets- how can a place with the word "sweets" in its name be bad?????
