Looking for something unique and fun to do in May.

We are going to WL in May.

I would love to hear suggestions on something unique, fun or just totally crazy that we can do while we are there.

DH and I will be celebrating our wedding anniversary and his completion of the Florida Half Ironman.

We all love fireworks, boat rides, DS likes maps and anything to do with geography.

I loved reading Janet2k's reports on everything wonderful that she did.

It looks like we will be checking in on Sat., DH is in the tri on Sunday and we will be watching him. We would probably have to do something Sun. evening or Monday during the day.

Any suggestions?

Why not make up some kind of game or treasure amp for you and your family to do . Seeing you love fireworks and your son loves maps and geography make it a day at EPCOT. You could make him go from on country to the next on clues you give him and he has to figure out what country it is. And you and your hubby could do the rehitching ceremony at the Garden grill and you treasure hunt could end in form of a country watching Illuminations there is no better fireworks show than that!

When I was there in Nov. with my DD 5 and DS 4 mos. we were the first ones into Tinks Treasures in the MK( go through castle and it is on your left) and my DD got to "wake up" Tink with a special wand. It is a really cute idea. They give you a wand and you tap a treasure chest 3 times and say" Wake up Tink" and then the chest opens and tink (magical pixie dust) flies out. You get a certificate at the end saying what you accomplised.

Renting a pontoon boat is really fun. It's a nice relaxing thing for a non-park day. We've rented twice at the GF and both times it was great. Also I highly recommend taking a Breathless cruise for something romantic and fun. That is booked over at the YC, and would be perfect for your anniversary.

You can go dig up the WL memory box! Our ds4 thought it was a real teasure hunt and was super excited.
