Im looking for something special to surprise my husband with at Disneyland - an experience or similar.
We've been to Disneyworld several times, on honeymoon and since, where I booked him the Wishes Cruise for the fireworks (I've also surprised him with the sharks deep dive at Seaworld, just to give an idea or the sorts of things!!).
But this will be our first trip to California, so would love to find something special to remember the 1st time by.

Any ideas?! Thanks in advance :goodvibes

Is your husband younger than Disneyland? One of my plans for a future trip is to only go to rides and attractions, shops and restaurants that were open when I was born. Of course, I've been to Disneyland many times (it's my home park), so it's a little different for me. For a little romance, you might want to eat at Blue Bayou, watching the Pirates riders float by. It's always a starry night in there.

Thats a lovely idea, but the only thing is - we wont want to miss out on anything!! Its our first trip to California and I dont know how long before we get there again (v expensive from UK sadly). But it is a brilliant idea!

I like the Blue Bayou idea, Ive read that its very nice there!!

I highly recommend Napa Rose at the Grand Californian. An absolutely amazing meal that I cannot possibly give enough kudos to!

There also used to be a dessert type thing with special viewing for Fantasmic. The Fantasmic at Disneyland is SO much better than at WDW.

Make sure you have him touch the brass apple at the entrance to Snow White's Scary Adventures. If you can't figure out a way to get him to do it subtly, then do it yourself when he's with you. Do a complete round trip on the Railroad. Visit Rapunzel (different and nicer, I think, than the WDW Rapunzel meet). See World of Color. If it's still on, I've heard ElecTRONica is really cool. Chicken at the Plaza Inn.
