Have a "ladies week" timeshare exchange there all booked and wondered if anyone has stayed there before? Got a pretty good rating from RCI, but I like asking people myself to get a better sampling. We booked a 2 bdrm slps 8 unit.
Thanks for any input. :thumbsup2

A very basic, but very well kept resort. There are pools, but nothing fancy. No onsite dining or bars, but Cracker Barrel and Krispey Kreme are within walking distance.

Very large units and the staff is great.

We stayed here last Oct. It was OK. It was clean and well kept....nothing fancy, but comfortable. There are several rest in walking distance.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom last October. We liked it. It was spacious and clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to check in and out. The pool was very warm. I asked for a unit near the Activity Building and I liked that location.

We booked through Skyauction with no problem. I would stay there again.

We stayed there in October and had a very nice time. We had the one bedroom with the full kitchen and it was plenty of room for us. Kitchen had everything we needed and the things were in good condition. Washer and dryer in the unit. The furnishings were not dated or shabby and the king bed comfortable. The staff there could not have been nicer. There is a little recreation room area with coffee machine and popcorn machine. The pool was heated and hot tub, nice and hot. Nice thick pool towels and you did not need to sign them in and out. When we were there they had a welcome wine and cheese party and a buffet breakfast one am. They will ask you if you want to do the timeshare tour. (They were hot on selling Bonnett Creek) If you say no they do not pester you. Also a computer in the main building. Free, but you need to sign up for time. I know someone posted pictures awhile ago. Maybe you can find them on a search. Grammy

We found the staff there to be amazing. Very accommodating. Our two bedroom unit was poolside and very large. It was decorated 80ish but we went two year's ago so I don't know if they remodeled. It was very clean and comfortable. The pool was large. There were plenty of restaurants walking distance (not upscale more like chain restaurants). You will need a car!

We would stay there again!

We were just there in December in a two bedroom by the activities center. Our unit was decent. The jets in the jacuzzi had mildew in them, handles were missing off of the master bedroom dresser, shelf pegs were missing on some of the kitchen shelves (the pots and pans were precariously stacked so that when you took one out, the shelf became unbalanced and everything fell), one of the burners on the stove didn't work and the washer is teeny tiny. I left this "laundry list" in the unit when I left, so hopefully they took care of the problems. They were not that big of a deal while we were there, just inconvenient. The screen porch stunk of cigarettes. There is no vacuum/broom in the unit. Shuttle service doesn't run ALL the time the parks are open (like the busses if staying on property). Wifi is available for in room purchase, but our reception was not worth the money I spent. It was very spotty and would go out at least every few minutes. It is available in the activities center and the main check in building.

OK, the good things... beds were comfy, the staff was nice and not pushy. Housekeeping was very nice when they came around on the 4th? day to change out towels and take trash. The refrigerators have ice makers in them. Super Target is less than a mile up the road for grocery shopping. Ample restaurants within walking distance. It's a short drive to Disney. The pool felt wonderfully heated!! The jacuzzi was hot and relaxing. The pool towels (available at the activities center, though no one told us that) are very nice. The location is suprisingly quiet even though it was off "hotel row". The rooms were very generous in size. Seating in both the eating area and couch area was plentiful. The second bathroom was also very generous in size.

Overall, it was nice, but we were used to staying at the DVC resorts on property and I missed "the magic". But if it's for a girls week and you don't need "Mickey magic", you'll have a great time. Family wise, with kids, I think I'll pass on staying again.
