Hi There... I have a piece of fabric, that I want to use cording to spell out a name. I am trying to find the best way/cleanest way to cut the cording without having it unravel. For example, the first letter of the name is L. I want have it alone with one piece of cord (handwritten). Then the rest of the name will follow. So, how can I effectly tie off cording?

TIA

You could dip the end in clear dry craft glue. It will be harder than the rest of the cord but it will not fray. Is that what you mean?

Yes, this is basically what I am asking. But, even to put glue around it.. When I cut it, it is already going to begin to unravel, right? (Thanks for your reply, too :) )

I think I would put sticky tape just above where you want to cut say 1cm to hold the cord together. Cut the cord then dip the entire end of the cord in the glue up to the 1cm where the ape is then after it is dry you can remove the tape and the glue should hold all the fibres together so they dont fray.:thumbsup2
