Looking for reviews on two steak houses....

I got a BAD steak at Texas Roadhouse two times in a row, and we've not been back.

I love Logans, though. Their yeast rolls are excellent, the salads nice and fresh, and I always order Mesquite Grilled Chicken (which doesn't taste like it sounds...there is no BBQ involved...it's a Parmesan Peppercorn sauce) and a loaded baked potato.

Their appetizer combos are good, too. DH always gets a filet.

Oh...on an "adults only" night...get a Pineapple Passion Roadhouse Tea. Drink it after you eat...not before....I made that mistake one time and ended up so drunk after drinking just half of it that we had to leave as soon as our food came. They just put it up in boxes and we left.

The service at that new Texas Roadhouse is SLLOOOWWW! Painfully slow. I have only been at lunch time though, so things might be better for dinner.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Texas Roadhouse. Don't have a Logans here so can't compare. But if it is someone's birthday, make sure the wait staff knows they want to ride the horse. Their non red meat selections are as good as their steaks.

The Lonestar here stopped with the peanuts a few years ago and claimed it was some woman that slipped and tried to sue them. Right.
It was obviously a cost cutting measure. Pure and simple. Logans still has the peanuts flying as does Roadhouse and Longhorns and Hops. All good food IMO.

I guess it's been a while since I've been to Lonestar. I got sick off some undercooked chicken about 6 years ago, and I don't think I've been back since, even though my sister used to work there!
