My youngest DD is turning 4 during our next trip to WDW. DH and I love the idea of having Mickey leave her a gift in our room while we are in the parks that day, but I hear WDW florist is very expencive for what you get. I hear Gifts of a Lifetime is wonderful, but expencive. Any ideas, thoughts, experances?

thanks

I suggest you prepare it yourself with some things brought from home with maybe a few additions from the gift shop. There is a thread on here about deals at local dollar stores which got me thinking -- maybe a glow-stick/necklace or two, a small bag of Mickey head pretzels from the gift shop (also ask the CM in the shop for free stickers), Mickey lollypops, etc. in a bright red gift bag, also from the dollar store. You could do a lot for $10. You could put it on the nightstand next to her while she sleeps...most of the WDW Florist gifts start at $25.

They have a Birthday Party at a restaurant at the MK. I am sure someone will have the name. It was about $10 per person and we got birthday cups with fruit punch and a cake to decorate with frosting, candy, sprinkes and stuff.
They had an emcee that lead all the kids in singing. He was pretty good and at the end Mickey and Minnie came by for photos.

If you do a character meal, let them know it is your DD birthday. They will bring a cupcake with a candle in it and sing happy birthday. We went to Chef Micky's and my 2 kids got birthday place mats also. You can also get a free birthday button at Magic Kingdom.
