I don't think you are doing anything wrong...I believe when Natalie started her blog she removed the scrapbooking kits and elements that was available for download from her 4 shared account. She has a new thread on here, you may want to send her a PM or post and ask if she would share some of her older stuff with you. Also, her new blog has several freebies you can download. You may want to look up Kellybell's blog also, she has tons of freebies. Both blogs also have lots of Disney kits and elements for sale cheap.

Wow theres some very talented people on here.

Would love to learn how to do scrapping...in time for my trip in 2011

x

I joined specifically for donatalies amazing talent and I too am very sad that her scrapbook photobucket is "private" I am taking my kids to DisneyWorld for the first time in 2011 and doing my first digital scrapbook and would have loved to use some of her QPs....any thoughts?

I know it isnt Disney BUT anyone can point me in the direction of Mario Bros kits, elements, papers, frames? Anything would be appreciated.
My boys decided to make a Mario Bros party and now im trying to collect as many material i can to make their albums.
Thankx
Ana

Well I just finished my 2010 Spring Break Disney book and posted it on the Shutterfly Gallery. If you would like to check it out just click on my below on "photo book.' Any comments and suggestions on Shutterfly or here would be terrific. :cool1:

Have a great evening.

Oh Cynthia!!! Wow Wow Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in absolute awe of your work - your book is amazing and something for you all to cherish always!

I would love to be able to create something a fraction as wonderful as that.

I am having trouble getting into my Digi-scrapping. I buy things everyday on the internet and store them all so carefully on my external hard drive all in perfectly named little folders. I think I am kind of scared to make a start. I don't know what else it can be. I just spend my time looking at other peoples work wishing I coudl do it instead of making the plunge.

I bought the tutorials from Scrap Girls and did those a while back. I am thinking about shutting myself away - doing them again and making a start. It is only 10 weeks to our holiday and I wanted to at least have done a few pages so that it isn't so daunting when I get back.

Would you mind telling me what font you used for the majority of your journalling? It looks perfect.

Once again - fantastic!!!!!! Can't wait for your next trip!!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. You are too kind.

Girl...Just take the plunge!!! That is what I did. I just started using PSE and it has grown from there. I frequent mousescrappers and participate in a lot of their weekly challenges which really helps me to think outside the box and to also try new things. I've only been digital scrapbooking for about a year and I really know very little so I know if I can do it anybody can do it.

The majority of my layouts are on mousescrappers.com with all my credits. I don't normally include what type of fonts I use but that's a very good question so I'll have to start doing that.

The large journaling pages I had to use Arial but my favorite and most commonly used font is Andy.

I hope that helps. Be sure to let me know if you post I book... :) I want to see some digitial pages soon...:thumbsup2

Again, thank you for your sweet comments. Have a great day!

Oh My Goodness, your book is absolutely amazing! Wow, what fabulous pages.

If you don't mind, I have a couple of questions for you.
Overall: I am brand new to digital scrapbooking and thus photobooks w/these layouts and wondered how much space you leave on the edges of the pages for the spine of the book (I assume it eats up some of the image but I just didn't know how much to allow for).

Page 37: Where did you find the Goofy Barnstormer elements, I would love to do a page like that.

Page 38: Where did you find the image for the Sword in the Stone at the top in the background (basically from the cartoon)?

Pages 30-31: Where did you find your background image?

Page 83: Where did the Epcot Character Spot Logo come from?

Page 84: Where did the Mexico Character clipart come from (not sure how to spell Callabellos; or something like that) and Mickey & Donald.

Page 85: Where did the Mickey & Goofy Norway clipart come from?

Ok, where did you find the characters by all the different countries, is there a special place you find them?

Wow, I didn't realize I had quite so many questions but really any help would be appreciated, I am so in awe of your book; And quite honestly, your pictures too.

EDIT: I JUST READ THAT YOU POST ON MOUSESCRAPPERS SO I WILL TRY AND LOOK THERE FOR SOME ANSWERS TOO!

It's Amazing! I'm going to take the plunge & start putting away time to start digi scrapping after seeing the last two books you've made.

Thanks for sharing!

That photobook is incredible. What size was it?

After seeing that, I don't think I will be posting any of my humble pics on here

You should be so pleased with yourself. It is absolutely amazing!

Welcome! Since Natalie (Donatalie) now has a scrapbook blog, she is respecting DISboards rules. Hence why the scrap section of her photobucket is now private and why she has NOT put her blog link on her DISboards signature. I would ask you to PM me (to give you the blog address) but I think you have to have 10 post in order to Private Message. So, I will recommend you find her on mousescrappers (Natalie of PA) which has her blog address in her mousescrappers siggy. Searching "N" in the Gallery is probably the easiest way.

In response to her Chip and Dale kit and any of her kits that were in her photobucket, I would recommend contacting her directly (via here, mousescrappers or her blog). I can tell you she has generously made other scrapbook papers and elements available for free on her blog.

Just FYI, DISboards does have a Scrapbooking section. I too am a huge fan of Natalie's talent and Cynthia's amazing layouts/books. We all have a lot of fun with the challenges on mousescrappers. I hope you have a WONDERFUL and MAGICAL vacation next year! Be sure to pick up a "First Visit" button from guest relations in the parks and/or at the front desk of any Disney hotel.

Cynthia, I think is on her way to Disney or will be soon otherwise I am sure she would have answered you already. 12x12 Memory Book. The details are under her (Shutterfly) name.

Ahhh, come on! We would love to see your layouts and pics. We have all had to start at the beginning.

Cynthia, just wanted to pop in and say GREAT JOB on another fabulous book!! I alway feel like I am there with you and your family in Disney when I see your books. I think you are on you way or will be in Disney soon. I hope you and yours have a truly MAGICAL vacation! :wizard: I can't wait to see your next book so I can read all about "our" adventures! :lmao:

Sorry for the delay in responding. I had an inspection team at work and my time has been limited to my "Fun Stuff" ;)

I always do my Disney books 12X12 as I'm addicted to the quality and how amazingly beautiful they look!

Sandy.. We go back in 6 days. We leave Wednesday morning bright and early and won't be back until the evening of 5 July 2010. I will be off the grid during this time enjoying taking pictures of carpet, walls, and whatever pops into my imagination...he-he...

Thank you for all your wonderful comments on my recent Spring Break book. Take a peak at the Gallery on Shutterfly its now a "Featured Book" As always they are a labor of love and inspired by so many other Disney scrapbook fans on mousescrappers.com.

I'm so thrilled that Natalie has her own blog. I started a thread a while back not knowing that I couldn't put her blog address in it so I have several that PM me. Sandy helping out with that would be GREAT!! I stay pretty busy with all the requests but I'm so thrilled that she has began designing and selling. She still has great freebies though on her blog!! :woohoo:

Heading to bed as it's been a VERY long week. I have much packing to do this weekend although all daily outfits are neatly stored, color coordinated of course, in garment bags ready to head out to WDW!!

Cynthia

Cynthia - great to "hear" from you. You must be busy the week before! HOW COOL! You're going to be in Disney for the 4th of July! You always have such neat experiences during your trips. I can't wait to find out all about your magical moments!! I would be glad to take PM's for Natalie's blog. sign me up for whatever i can do. :goodvibes Try to stay cool and hydrated. Get some cases of water delivered to your resort. Costco is great for that. I hope you have a great time! Congrats on being a featured book!! That is AWESOME!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I booked our Oct flight today, so, have been tweaking all of our reservations. Got Le Cellier! :cool1: I also made a timeline, so I can get the May photobook done :rotfl2:, autograph books, picture list, coordinating outfits, etc. We'll see!

Dessert Party FYI - I think Natalie was looking into the MK Dessert party for October. We went in May - loved it. I wanted to book reservations for October. I called wdw-dine today and they said the MK dessert party is only thru August but I just read that Epcot will be having a "3D Delicious Dessert Discovery" on Thursdays during Food and Wine http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2010/05/21/2010-epcot-food-and-wine-festival-new-additions/. Ok, off to get Toy Story 3 tickets.

Hey Sandy,
It crazy the week before Disney!! We go in October as well but just for 4 days to sneak in a surprise trip for the MNNSHP! We did it last year and love it.

We did the dessert party last year on July 3rd so we are doing it again on the same day! It great to not have to worry about getting a spot for the fireworks not to mention all the sweet treats.. I brought my monopod last time this time I know to take the tripod:).

I hope everyone has a magical day! Thanks for all the tips! July is so hot!!

going to post to this thread so that I can find it again.

I scrapbook in 12 x 12 but my printer only prints 8 1/2 by 11. (I didnt even think about printing scrapbook pages when we just bought it, was more concerned about wireless) anyhoo..

How bout some boxes that I can print out and cut out to paste on my solid 12 x 12 sheets?

HI! I love this thread! It has inspired me so much that I just ordered creative memories storybook plus. It should be here any day and I am so excited! I am looking forward to working on my most recent disney trip and plan on making a photo book. I have made photo books before but always used their layouts so they are boring..... I am so excited to put some personality into my books! I have a few questions if anyone can answer!

*How do you save these great templates that everyone is sharing? I have used donatalie's and many other disigns for tshirts and autograph books...but when i click on the high res image it won't let me right click and save that way. So do I download it? I thought maybe doing that and then putting in a separate scrapbooking folder on my desktop may work.

* Once saved, how do I input the pictures? And once the pictures are in, do you just then upload to whatever photosite you are using?

Sorry if these are silly questions but I don't want to mess up! TIA

Congrats on ordering the CM SBC+! It's pretty user friendly. I have it, but haven't used it that much. I need to play with it.....Anyway I didn't know if you know there is a CM thread over on the scarpbooking thread. The lades on there can answer most any question you have about the software.
