My daughters have a lot of the different princess costumes but I am looking for something more comfortable this year.

Does anyone know of a good site that sells princess dresses (other than the costume type) ? I have looked at the online Disney Store but they have very little.

Thanks for any help!

Hi!

Although I haven't bought one here yet (I'm thinking of getting one for my dd before our Disney trip), I've heard great things about the dresses at mydressuptrunk.com

They're supposedly very comfortable and not itchy at all, but still really cute. Check out the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique thread on here--that's where I read about that site.

Good luck! :)

My Dress Up Trunk!!! The dresses are so comfy! My DD has sensitive skin and these don't itch at all!!!

I usually by them through their eBay store.

Hi Ladies!

Thanks for posting pictures of the dresses--they are soo cute!! I was wondering if your girls were hot in the dress though... Did they wear them all day? That's my only concern since we're planning on going to MK after BBB and I'm assuming my DD will want to keep the dress on. Do you think my 4 year old will be ok in it for a couple hours in the afternoon?

Here is a pic of the outfit I made for my DD. The tutu can come on and off when she wants as there are white shorts underneath!! SHe will wear this on BBB day as well as when she meets Cinderella!!!

The dresses from My Dress up Trunk are very lightweight!! You could let your DD wear it all day and bring a pair of shorts and t-shirt "just in case" she wanted to change.

meeskamouska--oh my gosh, i love that tutu!! how cute!!

Lynn--thanks, it looks lightweight, but you never know! thanks again!

This is really cute! Did you make the tutu yourself? Great job! Was it hard to make? I'd love to try one!

Lynn--after reading my reply ("it looks lightweight but you never know"), I was meaning that that's why I was asking you, because it does look lightweight, but I wasn't sure. I hope you didn't take it as I was doubting you after you told me is IS lightweight!! I just wanted to clarify that!! Sorry if I'm being silly!! :rotfl:

Julia wore her dress 2 days straight, and then another day in her Sleeping Beauty dress. It was January, so not very hot, though still in the 70s-80s. The dress is very lightweight. We did also pack a change of clothes, though she chose to remain in her princess finery!! princess:
