I have been lurking on here for a while and I know I saw a thread with some completed designs. I was wondering if those who have used these designs could post some pictures of the shirts, books, tickets, etc and a little thank you to the DISigner. It would be nice to see some finished products!!

no that's not it, but thanks! I saw that one today but the one that I wanted had a lot of different pictures from various posters.

Kara,

Thanks for posting the pictures - you did a terrific job - they all look great - 2 questons for you -

1 - what type of transfer paper did you use?

2 - what size are your autograph books? Did you just use scrapbook paper? I love the ribbon idea - how did the work for your kids? Any other suggestions to making them?

Thanks,
Tammy

I made the scrapbooks 5x7 for my daughter, and 4x6 for my nephew. I used 67lb cardstock and then after I cut them out, I hole punched the ends and tied up with ribbon. I bought a small clipboard to keep it on - makes it easier for the characters to sign - and carried the whole thing in a ziplock to keep it from getting wet. Started this in May, 08 and still use it each time we go. It is heavy though, but the characters and handlers love the books!

For the transfer paper, I use either HP or June Tailor for light fabric. Both of those worked well for me.

Where did you find the design of the mickey ears with the tiara on it? The tiara looks sparkly--did you do something special to that design. Would love to make some for my friends 40th birthday party at WDW.
Thanks

I cannot remember who did the tiara - maybe kellybell? donatalie? But I bought small rhinestones and glued on in a few places. I loved the finished product of these shirts! My DD loved the sparkles and it was fun for our mother/daughter trip!

I would just post a thread asking for the mickey head with tiara - whoever did it will be willing to help you. These designers are amazing!!!

Thank you so much! I will try and find that design right now. I would have never thought of putting rhinestones on it--thanks for the tip

Kara you rock thank you for sharing - and if the person who designed this sees this - this is flippin cute! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

I also have that "What happens in Disney...." design with the sorcerer hats, and another one in pink with Minnie bows. Let me know if you want those too!

I really like that a lot too!! I tried using the glitter fabric paint for accents on mine but I didn't like it much!! I immediately wiped it off!!!:artist:
